I like big butts
and I can not lie that's two. I have ADHD I'll be back.. wait.. I am a hopeless romantic wonderfully devoted to my perfection.. that's five.. yes.. five... |
* I love the feel of the grass and dirt on my bare feet in the summer. And to absorb all the earth has to share. "Yes I am a tree hugger...smiles"
* I love to be goofy at almost all costs to bring a smile or good memory to friends or loved ones. I believe when your gone that is what they have to hold so that is very important to me. * I am going to be another GREAT GREAT GREAT Aunt sometime within the month. This will be my second Great Great Great Nephew. And they think he will only be a couple lbs. * I have had a few near death experiences. A couple which I passed and was brought back. * I had a step daughter who left this earth early at the age of 12. Such a beautiful soul. She was to perfect to stay ...smile...I love ya Shay Shay! |
♦ I enjoy Rainy days almost as much I enjoy Sunny days {unless I have to be somewhere well-dressed, and it's pissing rain, then I hate it}.
♦ I'm a very picky Chocoholic.... ♦ Same goes for Coffee.... ♦ I'm very fond of quiet walks around sunset ♦ Butterflies Fascinate me...beautiful, yet realistically Tragic. |
1. I like to drink out of a pretty, pink, sparkly Disney princess cup when I'm feeling low. I can see the bottom of the glass and all the little sparklies floating in it. Makes me smile.
2. I'm a bit of a sci-fi geek. With that said I have a small crush on Captain Jean Luc Picard (I think it's the bald thing with the accent. Who could resist?) 3. Whenever I eat fruit salad I share with my pup. She's especially fond of blueberries (they are high in antioxidants you know) 4. I am addicted to ID Discovery channel. However I tend to watch to much of it. This in turn causes me to be afraid of the world, which is not good, especially when I need to walk my pup at night. *blink* 5. I sometimes wish I was Marilyn Monroe (sans the dead part of course) |

Re: Storage unit: Don't want another monthly bill, and I am approaching the perimenopausal stages of my life... lethal weapons - not a good idea. I'm not all that impressed with Chuck. Bowling icon: necessary Care for some key lime pie? |

*pout* A friend's house, perhaps? I think that you could 'use' the roller coaster ride of the hormone influxes to help you become a fantastic assassin. The death of a dream is so disheartening. I suggest an animated one where a bowler is releasing the ball and tucks his or her leg behind him. That always makes me smile. Of course, one where he or she is holding up their hands in a strike 'in your FACE, loser' formation would be nice too. Love some! Where's the pie smiley???? :overreaction: |
I finally embrace forgiveness as a means to be free of what has wounded me.
I made-up a morning chant for myself thanking the universe for rendering me a woman and in the configuration of the female that I am.... a butch. I have religious/spiritual icons throughout my home. From Buddha to Mary. One favorite is a small statue of Saint Francis for my pets that my late partner gave me. I celebrate the Day of the Dead annually. I love Frosted Flakes ..... they are G-R-R-R-R-E-E-E-E-A-A-A-T-T-T-T!!!! |
1 I'm very sweet 2 I'm a princess-queen 3 I can be a great friend 4 My favorite rose is as well my favorite color .yellow 5 I can sense a fake a mile away :trampoline: |
Quote:
Well, Mare's approaching "that" age too .. perhaps she'll have a change of heart where the art of assassination is concerned. Hmm.... perhaps I could use the powers of peri-meno to my advantage. Thank you for this - I will meditate on it. :ninja: http://media2.sweetimsmiley.com/Asso...fs/bowling.gif http://www.smileyshut.com/smileys/ne...owling-051.gif Here, something better than a smiley.... http://img.timeinc.net/recipes/i/rec...-1206119-l.jpg |

I dislike anything raspberry
I'm German and Russian I've lost four great women in my life to death I went through a life-changing ordeal that nearly killed me (It happened in less than 3 minutes.) I don't ever celebrate my birthday |
:deepthoughts:
I've danced naked in a wild summer rain :rainsing: (sans lightning, of course). Don't have cable TV, on purpose. :scarytv: Love caramel apples :farmtree: Marched in the Boston Dyke March :LGBTQFlag: one year, carrying a sign that said "Your old maid aunt is really a happy lesbian!" Big fan of Eddie Izzard. No poking badgers with spoons! :badger: |
* I fell asleep listening to Sufjan Stephen's "A Loverless Bed" on repeat during a 9-hour-long tattoo session. That makes me a complete badass.
* I eat a pack of Orbit Wintermint gum every 2 days and have been late to work from stopping to get more when I've been out. * I sometimes obsess about what will happen to my childhood teddy bear when I die. He's real raggedy but his music box still works and he still has both his eyes. * I think Diane Keeton looks like a mole-rat and cant watch any movies with her in them. * One time, many years ago, a friend gave me a beautiful red sequined scarf when I was going through a really shitty time. It was one of the single-most thoughtful things anyone has ever done for me. I still sometimes take it out and wrap it around my neck and prance around when I want to remember how it felt for someone to finally "see" me. |
I always know it is a good party when I am hung over 2 days later..lol :drunk:
I am not a fan of rollercoasters. I often wonder if there are women that get the meaning of "fool around". :winky: I miss having boys night...hell, I miss being around my boys/bois/guys/butches. Where mah buds at?! I am, as of right now, half way through my first quarter of school in over 20 years...pulling a frickin' 4.0!! (gotta brag before it drops...can't handle this algebra stuff like I wish I could..lol) |

My five: I look like a Christmas tree today. I am cyclical with my cravings, obsessions, etc and today's obsession is peppermint candies. Yesterday's was too and I suspect that it might be in the forecast for tomorrow as well. Wednesday, however, is up in the air. I am a collector of mentally-tortured souls. It's not on purpose; they just kind of gravitate towards me. I have a gift certificate to one of my favorite restaurants but I don't want to go by myself. *sigh* Thanks to the shanigans of the various doodles and bubbles and tiddlywinks on this site, I have a full grown hard on for lobster now. Thanks, kids. :eyebrow: |

I am not as sweet and innocent as people think.
I curse a lot when I am mad. I don't get mad a lot. I played viola in middle school and high school. First chair all the way through. Was accepted by two music schools for undergrad. Decided I wasn't as passionate about it as it would take to major in it. I chew a lot of gum when I work. Orbit White Bubblemint. Nothing else. I had to chew Big Red the other day and I almost died. Really, I did. I love kids but have never wanted to have any, even when I was wee. When I played house or Barbies I was never a mom. My childhood was less than stellar and didn't have a good role-model, so it scares me to death. Despite being told different by children of exs, I don't believe I am good parent material. |

Secretly naughty and slightly evil with a cover of innocence, spice and everything nice, check. Cursing is a second language, check. I do tend to get angry a lot though, but it's Italian anger, so that makes it okay, right? :sigh: Obviously, YOU got the musical talent in the family. I am a musical spectator. One of the best, too! :cheer: Need gum, check. Different kinds to alleviate my natural easy to bore self, though. Difficult childhood minus the TV after school special and Lifetime movie, check. I also have the fear of not being a good role model as well as passing some nasty genetic material down the line. Unless something of the dark and horrible variety occurs, a baby will not set up house in my body. I do, however, believe that you are made of the good parenting material. You bring it to work with you. Now, I honestly believe that if you were a parent and you continued the work you are doing now, that you would find yourself spiritually and emotionally depleted. So, it's good to do one or the other, imo. This way, you touch more lives and create a larger happy ripple. |
I am
1. softhearted 2. a silly romantic 3. old school 4. a tempermental artist 5. and I would slow dance with someone to Paul Anka in a heartbeat..... |

I like Miracle Whip and tomato sammiches on white, fluffy bread with a sprinkle of salt.
I have horribly unmanageable hair and only have good hair days with the use of a flat iron or a scrunchy to pull it into a knot or both. Ocean Spray makes the most fabulous drink mixes to go into your water. They don't clump and they taste oh, so yummy. This isn't necessarily about me, per se, except to admit that I hate crap floating on the top of my water. I was supposed to be born a redhead. I just know it. :1femme: I have white doggish-polar bearish creatures on my jammie pants this morning. |

5 Things:
* I like to overuse exclamation points!!! * I don't hear well and if I am in a crowded room trying to have a conversation, I usually have to lip-read to understand the person even if they are standing within 3-feet of me. The lip-reading has come in handy over the years :) * I am oddly drawn to the Cathouse series on HBO. * Every day on my way home a Weimereiner that lives about a mile from our house waits for the truck to pass his house because we have made friends and I keep a bag of dog cookies in the truck just for him. * Between The Planet, work, and personal, I average about 2 hours a day just reading emails. |
As a newspaper editor, exclamation points are my mortal enemy. *grin* Journalism teachers will tell you that you only get one in your entire career, so use it wisely.
I can't read lips at all. That's a sucky thing, because yes, it does come in handy. Tomato and mayo sandwiches rock. BUT, they MUST include pepper. Lots of it. And some salt, but not that much. Dexter intrigues me. If you don't know how to curse well, they will teach you at any newspaper. I had one co-worker who NEVER cursed -- until something went wrong on deadline and then she could drop the F-bomb like no other. |
- I'm a Huge All-Blacks Rugby Fan, been one since the early 2000's after I saw a Game and said "Now THAT's better than american Football"...
- I'm also a big "Soccer" fan {We call it FutBol} - I have yet to Miss either World Cup, Olympics, X-Games or the Academy Awards [ I panicked during the Writers Strike, and dozed off when Letterman hosted *the Year Indie films had it good* lol] - I was gonna put Im a die-hard Yankees fan, but anyone who talks to me knows this...So...When I was 'introduced' to Kink/Leather/High Protocol, I 'started out' as a sub., eventually I learned valuable things, but then...I was hella "SAM" as well - I'm both a cat person and Dog person....after Ferrets of course.. :sunglass: |
*I love mint chocolate chip ice cream, but haven't had it in years. *I love Curious George & The Jungle Book because I love monkeys *I am not on Facebook, and I don't Twitter *I would love to go to Israel *I see Michael Phelps and Dorothy Hamill all the time |
~bored @ Dialysis...so~
1- I know by heart the songs to "Evita", "Fiddler on the Roof", "CATS", "Grease"...[droops head] 2- I can discuss religion till the Cows come home if the other person is open-minded... 3- My first time ever eating "sushi"..was in Washington state, I was 4, and I swallowed a pair of Live goldfish... 4- I drove the MP's insane on the Bases we lived in...2 MP's frequently called me "spawn of hell" 5- I prefer rainy days..but, sunny days are great sometimes, if I have sunglasses. |
1. I was in Rockville, MD at an NIH conference, on the day that the "Beltway Sniper" shot his first person. The hotel was on lockdown for a few hours. When we left the hotel to go out to dinner that evening, I remember running from tree to telephone pole--I felt so vulnerable.
2. I could eat Indian food every day of my life. 3. I don't really like sushi very much, although I do eat it. My favoirtes are salmon and tuna. 4. Dexter creeps me out, but it also fascinates me. 5. I am really afraid of heights. Even driving on a road with a steep drop-off kind of scares me. |
5 Car Things
1) The first time I wore my pager, I was driving a country road and going through some twisty-turneys...my pager went off and I thought my guts were going to explode...I nearly put the car in the ditch.
2) My mom drove a Dodge Polaris custom...similar to the old California Highway Patrol cars...she was as wild as a march hare. One day my sister and I were sitting in the back seat (4 and 6 y.o. old ) and mom said 'HOLD ON GIRLS, WE'RE CLEARING OUT THE CARBORATOR' and she STOMPED it. I remember reaching for my little sisters hand, laughing at not being able to lean forward in the seat from the acceleration...and to this day when I stomp it I think of that! 3) I got grounded for life in H.S. when I dropped the transmission out of Dad's Mustang. I was speed shifting, racing my best friend Margo in her 442. She won :( 4) My friend Kerry had a 62 Chev Impala. We rolled down all the windows and I took The Walk...she was only doing 40 or so, but I managed get out of the passenger seat, walk around the outside of the car and plopped my young ignorant ass back in the passenger seat without killing myself. 5) I had a bunch of water balloons and my friends and I were off to find some action...We were driving about 40 and recognized my teacher's car coming toward us...at a good 40...obviously my physics lessons hadnt stuck....The combined force of an 80 mph impact shattered her headlight and destroyed her grill...I got grounded for life on that one too. |
