Allllmost done at work

Tonight I pour the first layer of resin. I'm excited. The last couple days were cutting down and prepping wood to create several of these and building the molds that they go in to hold it all together while the resin hardens.

- Get up at the crack of dawn and "meet" my sister at my carport door to exchange gifts. I will leave hers in the carport and she will take them and leave ours. We can chat through the door.
- Sort out what presents go where.
- Make sure Zoom will work on my partner's tablet.
- Wrap one remaining present.
- "Meet" the boy's brother and SIL in the afternoon at the carport door for a brief visit and exchange of gifts.
- Broil and eat steaks delivered by the boy's brother.
- A long nap.

A little online shopping, puttering around the house, maybe make something to take to dinner tomorrow. Generally what the kids make is more than enough and they're making the same amount this year even though there will be far fewer guests but I always like to take a little something just to show I care, be a thoughtful guest. Mainly I'll kill a lot of time on the computer. Listen to some Christmas tunes. Spend some time this evening cuddled up on the couch with Monte watching some of my favorite holiday movies/television programs. Other than that not much. It's just Monte and I hanging out at home today and looking forward to tomorrow.

- get up a little early and make a recipe I found on TikTok for breakfast (complete)
- get in touch with the Occupational Injury Management nurse so I can return to work today (complete)
- catch up with all the emails and phone calls I missed while I was out with Covid-19

- change my sheets and do laundry
- empty trash cans around the house
- make a grocery list online for delivery

- playtime with the boy
- call the boi and my sister

- Netflix and a nice cup of herbal tea :tea:

- walk up and down the driveway for exercise

I am at my office right now working on outcomes and setting up data for three meetings today.

- reschedule doctors' appointments
- make a vegetable casserole for dinner

- maybe if I can bring myself to do it, look for a new dog on the petfinders website - but it makes me feel bad and cry, so I usually talk myself out of it

At my office working on financials and virtual huddle boards. I have three more meetings today.

Then I will head home and play with my dog. Prepare dinner and take my dog for a ride in the car.

- go to lab, where I will be covered in electrodes and won't be allowed to sleep for more than 10 minutes at a time

Tomorrow morning:
- wake up at Sleep Lab, have electrodes removed, and shower off all the electrode contact gel goo
- drive home and sleep all day

– Take measurements in the kitchen
– Meet the first of three contractors on the tub to shower conversion
– Do laundry at the condo (maybe, maybe not)
– Pick up the mail
– Get the car washed (if I’m game enough to drive in the melting snow)
– Try on a new winter coat that should be delivered today
– Back to the hotel

- Zoom meeting (complete) (I now have red dots all over both thighs from where I kept stabbing myself during the meeting, trying to stay awake.)
