Our company picnic tomorrow at a beautiful local State Park- going to take a change of clothes so I can do some walking/hiking.

Going home from the hospital tomorrow and being in my own bed. And eating an actual meal. Pain meds to kick in.

I am taking mom to New Orleans and to Mississippi on a little driving vacation this year. I am excited to see things through her eyes and to learn all about the history of the places we will see. My mom is a student of history.

I've made the decision to return to school to finish my bachelor's degree once and for all.

Now it's just a matter of where I go and what do I take.....

My associate's is in general studies/liberal arts so I could in any direction I want really.

I'm thinking nursing is off the table. I'll have to do some research and maybe talk to an advisor and see what looks good.

It feels good to have an open path before me....... :)

Even though I have shitty co workers, going into work tomorrow. I need the money.

I think I am going to take My newly purchased camping stuff out for a trial run this long weekend coming up. Thought, most places are likely sold out- I might have to try it out in the backyard. haha I am also looking forward (still) to My buddy from Lousiana visiting in September- where we will do a camping outing together.

I have two business trips planned where I will be on a boat in the Gulf of Mexico all day. I have a meeting of the minds planned in June and it will be hard work but my brain will get a work out.

My trip to New England and NYC is approaching and I am super excited.

FYI you can plan on me begging you for blank picture postcards of the big apple..plan accordingly :giggle:

Getting my sisters cable box replaced tomorow as it went out yesterday and I'm watching my dad (hospice) all nite tonite and tomorow while my sister works.makes for a very long slow nite.

Also getting on a plane tues morn for a week trip and good company.

On Tuesday I get the house to my self for a week, Roommate goes out of town just me n Riley my sweet old dog.

Seeing how clean our carpets get from our new carpet shampooer!
