It's a simple dinner tonight.. cream of vegetable soup (probably broccoli) with a flax muffin.. recovering from illness.

DC had boneless wings, French onion soup and mozz sticks. I had chicken wonton tacos, steak and black bean soup and a salad. It was delicious!

I am using my instant pot tonight.

It started raining outside, I had to come in. Soon as I was in the house, I realized I had not eaten today. This was about 2:30 this afternoon.
It is so cold. I opened a can of Dinty Moore Beef Stew. Poured it over 4 slices of bread I had put on a paper plate. Dumped about 2 cups schredded mozzarella cheese on it, nuked until cheese was hot and gooey. Made a large strawberry milk using Nestles strawberry powder for milk. (had 2 of those milks before it was over) Tasted out of this world ... and actually filled me right up. :) |
I started with a romaine lettuce, garlic, mint, lemon salad with shaved parmesan cheese.
I cooked some special meatballs, reduced a few tomatoes, garlic, onion, oregano sauce. I will put the meatball in a bun with the tomato sauce, topped with fontina cheese and put it in the broiler for a few seconds. I made some apple pie filling, just enough for a couple of pockets. I will make the dough tomorrow and have it as a treat. Always, in moderations ;). Enjoy your day everyone. |

Last night was pizza and I suspect tonight will be leftover pizza and Greek pasta salad with artichoke. Not sure what DC will have tonight but there's pizza for Him too, if He wants it. We had water to drink.
