after work, I drove by my new home to see if all this rain helped my front yard look greener.
That's going to be my project for sure. I'm trying to figure out how to get grass to grow with sand. I'm thinking top soil? Mix of peat moss and top soil?? I need to move in first! Lol. My mind is all over the to do list. |

Help Mary load her donations for drop off at Goodwill. Then a stop at the Kingston Post Office, my bank, and the grocery store. Yup, we certainly lead an exciting life out here in Green Acres! |
Think I’ll bake some goodies later today. Either a lemon pound cake or some brownies with walnuts.

Today? Work. Tomorrow? I might attend a vintage flea marketplace in Providence for Pride tomorrow. Maybe. We'll see.

I have housework that's fallen by the wayside throughout the week but other than that and some straightening up, I don't have much on my list today. It's Pride and my personal celebration is to get off my own back and relax.

Sleep. I worked a 13.5 hour day yesterday and an 11 hour day today and it wasn't a nice and easy, stay in the office kind of work either. I'm so exhausted I'm overtired.

I took Milo out for a ride in the car and got Panera for lunch plus a loaf of rustic sourdough. Now I am doing laundry and cleaning.

I've spent several hours studying up on setting things aside for a rainy day . I've learned a lot from this pandemic. In some areas, in terms of planning ahead, I've done much better than expected. In others though, nowhere nears as well as I thought I had. Still, overall, it's easy to see how much better life has been due to having had a plan in place than it probably would have been if before the pandemic I hadn't bothered to do any planning at all. Anyhow I worked on that as long as I could, finally breaking for a late lunch as my first meal of the day. Now I'm going to spend some time online goofing off and in between taking some breaks here and there to start dishes, run some laundry and force my self to just do it- roll up my sleeves and get that Walmart delivery order in. Why I keep procrastinating I don't know. I mean it's for food, not cleaning agents.
