lol....poor baby!!! Have you ever heard of "cherry bombs"? Last weekend at my friend's while we were all in the pool...they were talking about these. She said she buys a jar of maraschino with stems, pours out all but about a quarter of the juice, fills back up with vodka..lets sit in fridge two or three days...and she says two will knock you on your butt. I just laughed as I hadn't ever heard that! Just wondering...I am a teetotaller so I know nada about them.

Eww...I'm not a fan of cherries, so I think I will pass on those thanks. I bet they would be crazy though, for the folks who enjoy that kinda thing. I'm actually not a big drinker. Come to think of it, I can't remember the last time I did drink.

Seems like folks round here find the pillows and light switches rather early :) funny it seems to be the time I find peace of mind to do my own thing! but then I am a west coast kinda girl.
Went out on a date with someone new tonight, went to a concert in a park, was kinda of sweet, but ended pretty early.

Well it was Canada Day today!!! Wasn't actually all that patriotic this year. Some friends and I went up to Whistler, I had never been up there before. That was fun, we watched guys go down a ski hill on mountain bikes. No one crashed.
Then we hit up an Open House for a $1,000,000 duplex that we kept seeing signs for. LOL

After on my way home and I got invited to my friend's campfire party in her yard, so that was pretty laid back. I smell like a campfire.

Well looks like that butch was just after a friends with benefits or a "practice gf" if you know what I mean. I am really attracted to her, and now unfortunately, she is part of my group of friends. She is attracted to me too, but she has no room for a gf in her life and I am too old to waste my time on someone who only wants sex and to "play house".

I am finding, that at 49, most women have had the relationship thing and are now just looking for someone to have sex with, have a night out with, and not have a real relationship with. I came out way too late.

I am a little past 49 BUT I am definitely wanting to find my special someone and settle down. I do NOT believe in FWB's OR One night stands! I regard my own integrity much more highly than that!
I am also an OFOS butch...I don't know all these new "designer labels" and such...and I believe in having privacy betweeen the two of us as to what does and doesn't work in the bedroom AND other aspects of a relationship. It saddens me that we so blatantly put such intimacies out in public venues. What ever happened to "discretion" and privacy? I am not judging anyone but for myself that is something sacred to me and to her...and NO ONE else! Maybe I came out before my time...or perhaps it is I who am behind the times...but one thing is for certain...I will NOT change my beliefs and moral compass! I am simply a woman who loves a woman...and I am very proud of my old fashioned beliefs and morals! I love each and everyone of you, and respect your personal beliefs.....so please do mine!

I am so glad you wrote this ... I was starting to think it was just me and what I was attracting ... I am honest and truly looking for a life partner ... I love being loved, I love to love, I love growing with someone ... All I keep finding is people that are just looking for that quick in and out and that is soooooooooo very not what I want. I was wondering what kind of vibe I was putting out there. Seems like what I keep running across is people fresh out of LTRs that are looking to finally play after being a couple for so long ... Pretty much like a mid life crisis ... When I'm looking for that forever kind of love.
