Yeah. I used to think I had a fairly decent understanding of utter disbelief. I really thought I knew what that meant. I was wrong. This. This is utter disbelief. I feel as though I have been psychically lobotomized. I never thought I'd really be someone to use the "I just can't even…" thing. I think it every day now.

So...i'm doing a doob and binge watching a rather quaint, fairly predictable and charming British murder mystery series on Netflix.

Drinking coffee, contemplating breakfast, jotting down a short grocery list, and reading forum posts.

cinnamongrrl 01-17-2017 06:50 AM

Counting down the last 12 minutes of my 18 hour shift

I have to do this two more times and then I'm off for two days...which I'll probably sleep through... :koolaid:

Sitting here feeling super grateful at the moment. I had some candles lit while drinking my coffee as it was still dark out. Well, a few minutes ago I decided to make a super quick run to the small store a block away, (I can literally see this store from my house) and almost left with the candles lit telling myself I would just be gone for a couple of minutes, but my gut told me not to chance it, so I blew them all out.

Upon returning home, I relit the candles and laid the disposable lighter about 7-8" away from a small diffuser with a tealight candle burning in it, like I always do. Minutes later, I heard a strange sizzling sound and as soon as I looked in that direction flames shout out and up! The lighter was evidently leaking and the gas had caught the lighter on fire, which quickly spread to a nearby piece of paper! I jumped up and swept the burning lighter and paper into an empty trash can and took it outside where I quickly extinguished the flames. All of this happened in mere seconds! :scared:

I am so grateful that I have learned to listen to my gut and that the incident happened while I was sitting only feet away. This is why I make certain to always be in the room while burning candles.

Painting my face, surfing the Internets, drinking my green smoothie.

Most of them call President Obama Mr Obama instead of addressing him respectfully with his title. IMO they should address "the don" with the same lack of respect. Mr Trump

JDeere 01-17-2017 07:38 AM

Finishing getting dressed for my day.

I could go for "hey you" but Trump will probably demand that he be called president or King of All in the Universe.

Or Pope Don, followed by the ***largest known prime number, 2^57,885,161 – 1, which has over 17 million digits and was discovered this year.

And that everyone that approaches him;

Genuflects.

First.

I hate that guy.

#notmypresident.

Right now, I'm watching The Wild Life and contemplating what to have for brunch.

C0LLETTE 01-17-2017 10:27 AM

I'm watching CNN and wondering if it's healthy to be so mesmerised by American politics.

No, but it is like when everyone on the freeway slows down to look at the accident.

You don't want to look, you try not to, but most people do look anyway.

Trump is our very own American train-wreck.

I am too.

Listening to Franken question DeVos. Sanders did a good job asking the right questions of which she had zero answers of substance. Seems like she can't answer Franken's either from what I'm hearing. She cannot answer education-based questions--wow.

Let's hear how she answers about her family donating to Focus to the Family. WHY am I doing this to myself? :/

Quietly thinking about my day....

Doing now

I am watching the People's Choice Awards past my bed time.

Don't tell mom!

:cowboy:

candy_coated_bitch 01-18-2017 09:43 PM

Right now I'm laying on my butch's bed, companionably listening to music and playing on our separate interwebz.

RockOn 01-19-2017 12:30 AM

Woke up with foot cramps, made a mad hobbling dash for the kitchen, poured several doses of salt in my hand and washed each one down with a couple of gulps of milk. If I don't drink the milk, I get killer indigestion.

Now I am online, eating Fritos and hoping to become sleepy very soon.

cinnamongrrl 01-20-2017 06:02 AM

Waking up.

I went to bed at 830. Woke briefly at 330 now up at 7.

They say sleep loss is cumulative and can't be made up for. I beg to differ.

Orema 01-20-2017 07:08 AM

Thinking of joining Beyoncé's BeyHive. I've never joined a fan club, but I'm thinkin' now is the time.

JDeere 01-20-2017 08:29 AM

Checking the local news for today's weather. Looks like another gloomy day with rain, yuck.

Posting on here to catch up.

*Anya* 01-20-2017 08:53 AM

I really need to get dressed for work.

Sometimes I get lost reading or writing on the Planet and other blogs and look up and an hour has gone by.

I need to move it now!
