Well, mine are filled out, addressed and waiting for postage. During her recent visit, Pixie bought postcards while waiting out her layover so y'all have her to thank for my latest mailings :)

I was so exhausted lastnight, that I forgot to post that I had received two more postcards. I received one from Corkey and Amiyesiam and Morningstar! Morningstar, I love the duck one and once I get my own cubicle at work, I will be taking it in and putting on my desk..

I am having such an issue with my brain, lol.

Corkey and Ami, the Erie PA postcard is nice and makes me miss living up there! I lived a half an hour east of Pittsburgh, in a little town called Springdale. It is located on the Allegheny River and about ten minutes from New Kensington, PA.

Received the postcard backs so I will begin putting the cards together, addressing them, and mailing them out soon. I did want to tell y'all that I have a little helper - about 6 years old - who will be helping me prepare and mail them. Her name is Sarah and she has had some medical traumas dealing with bowel obstructions; they have left her with behavioral problems, so I offered to spend time with her one on one for us to do a project together - this postcard mailing. So if you receive something from me that has her name you will know who she is...thanks for understanding, because quite honestly she is excited to be getting these ready for y'all. *Smile. I will let you know when they are out so you can watch for them. *Wink.

Oh and I received a card from Ami and Corkey. We are in the same state!! Ya know I have NEVER been up Erie way. Maybe sometime I will have to make a trip up to check out the sights. The lighthouse on the card was beautiful! I used to collect lighthouses! Thanks so much. *Smile.

My Kids are back in school, not me. You would think it would be easier but I find that I have triple the amount of homework I ever had while I was in school-lol.

I must say, this Postcard idea has been great. i have received some wonderful fun cards, pictures of great places and great artistic works. What a potpourri from this community.

I was out of town for work and picked up some cards, and.....drum roll, they are stamped and addressed. I made an address label list. Cards will have a better chance of getting to you with typed labels versus my scribbling on a dashboard.

Personally I can appreciate the printed labels. My handwriting is kind of flowery and there is not much room on a postcard for me to write ;)

hey all

had a nice break from the texas heat this past week...spent a few days in nyc. witnessed a beautiful, legal queer wedding, caught up with some old friends, rode the subway and the ferry, got a personal tour of some fun places in manhattan and brooklyn. good times!

the only disappointment was missing all the earthquake action by managing to be on a plane. damnit.

getting caught up with home stuff and editing pics now. should have a new batch of cards soon.
