I really miss the planet.

I just don't seem to sit still long enough to come play right now.

I miss traveling, having my back scratched and salty peanut butter

Last night I missed snuggling.

I miss feeling enthusiastic about a night out, these days the ritual if getting ready just seems like a chore.

Basic affection.

My son being a little guy

Malls, Interstate highways (all secondary roads), stores open for business. The entire Main Street (for several blocks) is boarded up. You go much further down Main and there's Wal-Mart doing a bustling business.

No malls or movie (let alone theater) houses or interstate hwys. or God forbid, a university. Maybe a bookstore? Or someone with education beyond undergraduate or a major other than Agriculture.

No out LGBTQ folks besides us. I walk around here with my moustache and short hair. And Sue...oh, God...She couldn't pass for anything other than Butch, Dominant, Dyke, and in charge of any situation we might find ourselves in.

Guess what I really miss is being in a city.

I miss my mom.

Having a femme help with laundry!

Sitting around the limestone fireplace with grand clock on the mantle, my mother, father, brother and I listening to the reading of T'was the Night Before Christmas on a cold snowy winter's night.

I miss kisses...sweet little pecks to passionate kisses that take my breath away.

Lately I really miss kink...

Actual conversation with a partner.

I miss working as a dialysis tech at a very posh, private pay, for profit clinic.

I went to the salon today, and my hairstylist gave me one of those Aveda oil scalp rubs....but, she did something different today and took it down to my neck for ages, then my shoulders, then lower...I almost cried. It felt so wonderful to be touched by another human being.

It was nurturing that I am unaccustomed to. I felt like a feral cat who was finally getting some human contact.

I miss the ass I used to have when I was in my thirties.

Being pampered by my partner.

I miss someone cooking me a delicious meal and setting a romantic table.

That is how I show my love...I cook fabulous meals. Well, one of the ways.

I've been really lucky in that way. Several of my past loves have been wonderful cooks and quite romantic. It's a very sweet way to connect with someone.

Lucky for you, most butches always appreciate a good home cooked meal! I know I sure do .......:eating:

Y'all got me feeling sad with this thread! I try to be really independent when it comes to relationship stuff, but I guess there's no denying there are some things I miss.

I miss intellectually stimulating conversations, I miss cooking for someone and seeing their face light up when they eat my food, and I miss little gestures like when your partner casually rests their hand on your thigh at a restaurant or guides you in a crowded room with their hand on the small of your back.
