Already planted the last of the annuals
Get the Lilly of the Valley in with the foxgloves
Finish washing and putting up the last of my summer clothes

Get things packed up that are not last minute deals..
Put a few things in the truck


Tomorrow will be to get gas, check tires air pressure, put packed stuff in said truck and then make my way back down to Texas.

Clean up bookmarks, documents
Place Walmart order
Place Amazon order
Finish up laundry
Work on budget for next month
Nap

Met my bio fathers sister, one of them
Hung out with my bio fathers second wife and one of my nephews
In my hotel room, going to eat dinner, hopefully with my lil brother and family

sleep and then get back on the road again to get into houston tomorrow

There are many things. However, only one that is getting A LOT of attention:

Packing!!

Today I am working from home -which I like to be able to do on a Monday as it is a slower pace than being in the office - it always seems to make the rest of My work week better when I start it this way.

While I am at home I will also do some other things such as:

Wash My car - which can already be checked off!

Buy a new bulb for the low beam light on the passenger side of My car (I JUST replaced the driver's side a week and a half ago - could they not have gone out together?) - this can be checked off as well!

The always pleasant job of changing out the litter box!

Hopefully getting My truck running finally!

and of course - packing!

Chat with Walmart associate about missing item. Check, and the customer service guy was fantastic, so polite, pleasant – really helpful! Every bit what customer service should be and is getting harder and harder to find these days.

House cleaning so J has nothing but the heavy stuff to help with. She isn't exactly the best housekeeper in the world so when she says something yeah I probably should be getting my butt in there and doing something about those floors. The good news is, she's like me when it comes to floors. Mostly we just sweep, vacuum, occasionally mop and generally not often enough so every once in awhile it's good to get down on our knees and give them a really good scrub, she sees the sense in that and that's what she helps with. She does one room while I work in the other and then we trade places, go over each others work and if need be tackle what they missed. LOL no sweeping it under the rug. Checking each others work, it keeps us honest.

Do some laundry.

Say to hell with healthy eating habits, chow down on some Cheetos and while I'm at it why not, make some sugar cookies.

Hanging out with mom and dad, using their wifi
check on job applications, aka follow ups when im not an HR person
continue to go through my bedroom closet and condense

I am going to California for specialized training this august. I need to order some new clothes for the trip tomorrow.
I have to visit someone in a nursing home. He has been there four months and he is lonely as hell
The garden is the best garden I have ever had. I have to pick the peas and fertilize the new cherry trees and start to set the stage for the new water feature
I need to visit the grand girls. They are heading to South Carolina for natl dance competition. I want to wish them good luck and get my grandmother kisses in!

Essentially My day was filled with cleaning and packing. I accomplished a lot- and at ten minutes to five - I am ready to call it a day.

WHEW!!!!!!!!!!!! Call it Quits!
 

That sounds like a full day's work. Time for a drink and dinner and put Your feet up !

Agenda today
 

Total vacuum and wash kitchen floor. Go shopping for fresh groceries. Take laundry to laundromat and drop it off (pick up tomorrow.) pick up Chinese on my way home (should be right around dinner time.) Feet up.

get wifi finally set up outside equiptment failure was the cause
get stuff to make tacos for tomorrow night
get other groceries
laundry
take ornaments off xmas tree and put xmas in the box
more packing crap

Moving to My new digs - and enjoying putting the place together over the next 4 days I have off!

Getting packing supplies, mainly tape.
Finding khakis for work
Visit with my folks and discuss money, etc
start packing

Getting together w friends and chainsawing down some trees in my back lot:woodchop:. Mind you, my personal saw is the new 4” that has recently been advertised lol. So I get to do the sumac saplings. But the messy mulberries and the dying walnut are also coming down thanks to friends. I am in debris pickup for them. Gonna be a hit messy day!
