I had been looking for a specific handbag for awhile now, found it exactly this morning and without looking too closely, because of my excitement, I clicked "Buy Now". After the order email came through and I had calmed down a wee bit, I had another look and realized it wasn't the designer I had thought it was, I was disappointed for about twenty three seconds. I got over it really quick and am super excited for it to arrive. Overnight no less!

This wall stencil. I’ve been wanting this since I saw it a couple years ago. I accidentally came across it on Etsy and snatched it.

I will see if I can purchase a larger version, if not I may try painting a larger one this size on my living room wall.

Maybe.

Last night was spinach and alfredo pizza.

Today, it will be paint. This homeowner DIY is kinda fun! I painted two focal walls in living room last week. Coast Aqua. Picking a color was a feat in its self. I used the latest painting tools, so it was easy cutting around windows and corners. This week...I'm going to tackle the remaining walls including the hall and some wall space in the kitchen.

FireSignFemme 01-24-2022 11:02 PM

Very little of what I went to store for but got some good prices on a few things I hadn't thought of/will use latter.

-Special K cereal with freeze dried strawberries in it.
-Whipping cream, last two left.
-Two heart shaped boxes filled with Hershey kisses for my older grandsons and one filled with mini Reese's peanut butter cups for the youngest.
-Two four pack boxes of Kroger Easy Care tissue.
-Cheap antiquated cell phone with cheap minutes and easy to read letters.
-Cheap antiquated landline w/big numbers, loud speaker and ability to program in pictures of faces of people I know so “Now that you're getting older well it'll be a good thing to have a handset in the bathroom in case you fall. Or say you're just having a heart attack or something then you'll have the landline for backup. The numbers on that are bigger, will make it easier for you to see, so you can call and let us know we need to dial 911 for you”.

Seriously, exact words.

Soft*Silver 01-28-2022 11:24 PM

I bought the makings for homemade blueberry cobbler, and banana pudding with vanilla wafers.

Today I have bought nothing but that's only because there's a travel ban in effect due to the blizzard and I have grounded myself from Amazon. Too many good buys lately add up!

Yesterday, I did my storm prep shopping at Wally World. I got Honey Crisp apples, a frozen pizza, curly fries, Greek yogurt, blackberries, cottage cheese and almond milk (the last one!).

Kätzchen 01-31-2022 01:55 PM

Gas0line for my car; will pay for my cardiology team appt (copay); maybe get something to eat later.

Soft*Silver 01-31-2022 06:20 PM

Every pay period I buy numerous things for the 2022 garden. Today I purchased four new raised beds, some landscaping liner with ground staples to go with it, a worm farm and a small chainsaw to take down some trees that sprouted over the last couple years. We might be having a snow storm coming, but I am already in spring!

Gemme 02-16-2022 05:42 PM

Not today but yesterday I put a deposit down on a new car and the day before, I bought 3.5 new additions to my whimsical stuffie collection. And a box of Keto cookies.

Hey FSF!! I had to chuckle reading your "tomatoes on the vine"....(my wife picks them off & tosses the vine away at the grocery store......she says I am NOT paying for the vine, too..as it goes by weight!!) She is pretty smart, as I never thought of that myself!!

FireSignFemme 03-20-2022 04:17 PM

My mother usually didn't buy them on the vine either. She didn't pick the stems off growing up we just ate other kinds. I don't know it for a scientific fact but she said buying them with the stem on keeps them fresh for a little bit longer so that's why some people we knew did. However not that much longer and besides in our house we used them up so fast it didn't really matter.

Bèsame* 03-20-2022 06:12 PM

Today was...
3 bags of potting soil. I have 5 pots that were given to me, of which I've spray painted pastel coastal colors. I'm not sure what is going in them just yet. But I have ideas of this beautiful white bougainvillea and a climbing jasmine vine.
Some heavy duty epoxy glue. A sunroom project with shade cloth going over the windows.
Thai basil, sage and a lavender plant.

And....out under the porch I have my very own vine ripened sweet cocktail cherry tomatos. And...very soon to have red and orange peppers. Just saying, I've never grown any veggies before!

FireSignFemme 03-24-2022 12:31 AM

Boat ton of stuff, too much to list. All of it for just in case shortages at store persist, get even worse. I don't want to horde but the way things are now if I don't buy while it's in stock I live to regret it. I'm hoping now that the mask mandates have lifted things will ease up.

Orema 03-24-2022 08:38 AM

New car battery. It gave out on me right after the warranty expired.

A nice foundation makeup for face at a great price.
