Asparagus and cream cheese on toast.

Spaghetti with Prego meat sauce, lean ground beef, mushrooms and red bell pepper dices added in to give the sauce a boost, and fresh Parmesan sprinkles. Halved, marinated red pear tomatoes served over an bed of romaine. Garlic cheese bread. No dessert and only water to drink because the meal tonight will be so filling.

every time I make this wonderful cornbread from a recipe given to me by my dear, sweet african-american lady friend, I end up with pillars of smoke in the kitchen and dining room ... we all just evacuated to the bedroom a few minutes ago ...

the house did not burn, no one died from smoke inhalation, my mess is getting somewhat smaller ... last time I poured a lot of Hershey's syrup on the floor and broke a bowl ... this is the best cornbread I have ever made!!!!

I made eggplant parm. w/ feta & tomato salad , lemons too

Pan-seared cheddar sausages wrapped up in lavash bread, baked asparagus and strawberries.

Vegetable panang curry over rice. It was a frozen dinner heated in the oven and good.

I'm not sure but my intention is to smile pretty when I suggest having something delivered :)

Ugh I am so full.
I had dinner with colleagues in the middle of a storm. I had some of crab dip, shrimp and grits, and a bite of key lime pie. Margaritas to drink.

Tonight I’m actually cooking...

We’re having beef stew in the instant pot. I cut up steaks for the meat since the store I was at had no stew beef. I got the gorgeous three color baby potatoes as a splurge to make it prettier. Then I got the horse carrots because they actually do better in the instant pot than baby carrots. Gonna add green beans at the end. Wishing i had diced canned tomatoes. They disappear in the sauce but add a yummy thickness to the stew.

Honey may pick up a crusty bread, but my ass could do without the carbs. :canadian:
