Spending time with my beautiful femme. I laughed until I had tears in my eyes. I love her sense of humor.

I spent a few hours painting. I knew I missed it but I didn't realize how much until I was in the studio painting again.

Finding a plethora of white and purple wood violets in the backyard...and they are TINY! This is just the beginning of spring blooms...I'm so very happy that winter is finally gone...for good..... :)

Yesterday, I had to write twelve poems of different kinds in two hours (long story). I'd forgotten how much I loved to write and how I would fill notebooks with my cheesy verse. I've no illusions that I'm another Emily Dickenson, though.

Listening to some amazing music (Yo Yo Ma, Itzhak Perlman, Vladimir Horowitz, etc) this morning with the deeper understanding and appreciation I have since my ears were "opened" to the extent that I can now listen with my heart too...it's just so breathtakingly beautiful when music touches your soul to such depths!!!

The A.Maz.Ing. Fleetwood Mac concert. Stevie Nicks was divalicious at 65 (!). No dud songs, no hammy solos that drag the show down (save for one Lindsay Buckingham solo, but he was very good so that doesn't count), no overtalking to the audience. Just right.

~going out for dinner and to an art opening with a friend whom I haven't seen in awhile. I thought maybe we had some sort of falling out of which I wasn't aware...turns out everything is fine...just work/life stuff that got in our way of meeting up!

Today and everyday for the past 4 years Desd brings me joy. 4 Years ago we met for our first date and she kissed me. I was a lost broken cowboi with MAJOR commitment issues but she never gave up on me and I am one hell of a lucky guy She makes my life better by just being in it. So here is to 100 more years of kisses and joy:moonstars:

Seeing a fellowship member return beaten after another jail sentence. My heart went out to him but I was so happy to see him back to give it a fresh go.

someone taking me to a special place because they're so thoughtful and always looking for things that make me feel appreciated and smile ... finding Toffee Pecan Honey Butter and Anna's almond thins...that's HEAVEN hearing that a dear friend had a wonderful weekend with family and baby nieces ... finding my own personal waterfall and an entire field of mountain laurel to enjoy since no one else hiked as high up as I did.. it's like an oasis of paradise up there. feeling Momma D watching over me |

Seeing the ultrasound picture of my friends 9 week old baby. So freakin' cute... looks like a gummy bear :) |
Looking at the clock and realizing in 4 minutes I am free to go home!!! WOOHOO.. I miss my pups... and I am sure they miss me... Mentally preparing to be knocked over by them a few times

Several things...
A surprise! My lunch break! A photo! An awesome rainbow I saw this evening near my home...took several photos and when I got home noticed it was actually double rainbow! Oh, the rainbow also "followed" me home...it was over my apartment complex! |
Finding both the geocaches I looked for. I am at 275 and my goal for the end of the year is 300.
