Yesterday I drove on the freeway and did really good. Went from 65 to 80 mph, depending on the flow of traffic, and it felt good. The good feeling surprised me. Usually, I'm clenching the wheel these days when I'm on the freeway, but not yesterday. I even turned up the music for awhile. I made it to my destination and back without taking the back roads and it felt good driving in both directions. Drove a total of 7.5 miles.

It felt so good I was tempted to drive to the coast (25 or so miles from me) but i didn't because that's where I was going when I had my accident--not ready for that just yet.

I'm learning what driving triggers go off for me. I probably will never drive long distances on the freeway in the rain, nor with the top down, but thats okay. For now, I just wanna drive on the freeway in the sunshine without panicking and I accomplshed that yesterday.

I have started the fall clothes bagging to send to good will. Tomorrow I will finish with the rest, the way I see it is if I haven't worn it in the last few months I don't need it.

Ginger 10-17-2015 09:26 PM

Packed a few more boxes. It makes me feel more in control, as I wait for the co-op board to summon me for my interview ...

Did laundry and while it was in the machines, did some grocery shopping

Had salmon with ginger, polenta and greens for a late dinner

Talked on the phone, went through my clothes yet again and threw out some blazers and bras

"Blazers and Bras." Sounds like the name of a reality show ... hmmmm

I looked back upon my twenties....

...(early 30s, too; if I'm being completely honest) and spent a few hours reflecting on wtf I could possibly have been thinking.

Wow. lol, seriously; just wow. Aging like a fine :wine: baby; that's me!

Thank goodness I'm so mature now! <dies laughing>

RockOn 10-19-2015 07:17 PM

Came in this morning to 4 user issues. Cleared up 3 of them by 4:40 this afternoon. That was decent ... considering the complexity of 2 of them.

I dont know what lit the proverbial fire under my ass but....

I FINALLY got around to sorting through stuff from when my daughter was here (over a month ago)

I've had boxes of stuff in my living room since then...I guess its just parting with things that were hers.

So I took everything out of the box she started for donations to the animal shelter and folded it and sorted matching items etc (bathing suits, shoes etc) The stuff will go to the "re-tail" shop and proceeds go to the shelter..

I organized my recycling and did some paper purging in preparation for my bi weekly recycling.

I also repurposed a little table to hold all the plants that I've already had to bring in. It's now happily situated in the sunniest window in the kitchen.

My client gave me heaps of clothes, most from her travels in Europe. I am sending most of the stuff to my girls, so I got a box and packed them up.

I organized the dogs' treats and...stuff....a little better. It needed to be done...

I vacuumed the majority of the house.

Did dishes

Washed the dogs' dishes

Fed and watered all furkids

Took in wash and folded it. Putting it away is a whole other animal. I would seriously hire someone to just PUT clothes away....

Smiling 10-19-2015 07:35 PM

Get outta here, you dang overachiever!

Blade 11-28-2015 11:50 PM

Started after midnight and finished this afternoon.

I cleaned out my dresser and my closet. Took out all the clothes that were worn out or to small and replaced them with the new clothes I've bought in the last few weeks. Separating the work clothes from the out on the town clothes and the short sleeves from the long sleeves.

I must have cleaned out $300-400 of clothes. Sad thing is many still had the tags on them. Even sadder I called several people I know and nobody could wear them. Some were to big some to small.

But I feel good with the purge, just hate there was so many I never wore.

So far, I have only managed to dig through this huge truck box I have stored in the garage that is full of things I've told myself I "need or may need", in order to find my ultra fine (#0000) stainless steel. Found it! Best thing there is for cleaning and polishing glass as far as I am concerned.

Now, I am going out to clean and polish all of the glass on my truck. Sadie's nose dna is all over the inside of the back glass! Yuck!

Afterwards, I will give the windshield and the back glass on the camper shell a good treatment with Rain-X.

Jesse 11-29-2015 02:12 PM

I ended up doing all of the glass on both the truck cap and the truck, then I cleaned the windows on the front of the house and the storm door. Next I cleaned & polished both of the bathroom mirrors. At one point I was reminded of the movie, "The Karate Kid", wax on, wax off, wax on, wax off. :)

Attended church service and bible study class. Returned movies to the redbox and cleaned up my girls bathroom.

Lecheloco 11-29-2015 08:30 PM

Everything I wanted to
I've been so busy the last few weeks I have missed most of the football games

Jesse 12-01-2015 04:02 PM

Not much of anything. I went out for lunch with a wonderful dear friend of mine and the two of us ended up laughing the early afternoon away. We had a blast. :)

Tomorrow, we are hitting up the local thrift store for "Customer Appreciation Day" & 50% of everything in the store and then out for breakfast. Should be fun, I need a couple of things they just may have. :sunglass:
