I used to have one and when I first bought it, I loved it. It was my prize possesion. Then after a couple of years of trying to keep the damned thing clean of dog hairs, I eventually began to hate it. It is gone now, one of the things that got kicked to the curb during the downsize to the motor home and I don't miss it at all.

no i do not own an old fashioned potato masher...i have a metal spatula with slots in it that i bent to turn into an awesome potato masher...works great for me if i dont want to use my kitchen aid.

LOL Between Weather and Houston, I thought I was reading about someone owning a potato masher that was full of dog hair.
