The homemade salsa, and various other things, I got in the mail today. It was here when I got home. A perfect end to a pretty good day otherwise.
I've been struggling with a really tough decision the past few months. I taught my last class this morning, though I'm kinda sad about that part because I really liked it, I smile because I'm comfortable and completely at peace with my decision. I went fishing this afternoon into this evening. Need I say more about the smile? Eating the fish we caught for supper. Nothing like fresh trout on the grill. |

Cooking up a down home Southern supper for my family members that I actually like as well as love. We had a devastating family tragedy a few days ago and it was nice to see smiles and laughter around the dinner table. Forget Chicken Soup for the Soul! Homemade Nanner Pudding makes your face and your tummy smile!
Getting the phone call that my special boi made it through surgery and was safe at home resting. It was nice to hear hys voice. Now I can relax... |

Waking up and being here everyday. Work and clients tomorrow, my life is so completely sane. For the first time I am not convincing myself or in denial about what the reality is, thank you Syr for giving me my life back, plus more. BIG Smile :hk2:

My friends have made and continue to make me smile, they mean the world to me, always supporting me no matter if I'm pushing them away or not, they're my mental chicken noodle soup, they soothe my soul, I'm eternally grateful to have them in my lifes, both those who are friends and those who are Family. I don't take friendships lightly, they mean so much more than just passing in the street and nodding, I will defend my friends to the hilt, because to me that's how friends are, and because that's who I am as well. I love my friends and Family.

Love.
Being in love and having love in my life. It's such a precious thing and too often far too easily taken for granted. I have so much love in my life and I can't believe it's taken me this long to see it and not only that, feel it. No more missed opportunites, this life is too big and our lives such a small part of the whole picture of humanities path that it's not worth worrying about all the small shit you can't change and time to focus on what matters, real people with real lives and real love, regardless of where it may come from. We're all worthy of love and being loved and giving love. Life is what you make of it, so I say make something good out of it, even if the only thing you change is for the betterment of those people around you! |

- opening the envelope, to find my PASSPORT - YAAAAAAAAAY! i have never happy danced so hard in my life, *grinning* Oregon here i come!! - a visit from my mother & my Aunt - and my Aunt noticing lots of positive changes in both my attitude as well as my physical appearance - and noticing the weight lost, that feels GOOD to hear! - an awesome workout - i'm full of energy today, and loving it, as well as making lists and improving my healthy eating plan and my exercise regime.. - travel plans, and knowing i'll be in Mtn's arms soon.. i couldn't be more thrilled - and loving that everything is falling into place.. Although we've had to up the dates by 2 weeks further away, being able to make SOLID plans now and getting all the details ironed out is making me anxious and even more bouncy... 41 days now, seems like a lifetime away again, but we'll be so busy with travel plans that this time will FLY by, i can feel it!! i'll be there soon Daddy...*big cheesy happy girl grinz* - beautiful sunshiney day - with the perfect slightly cool breeze.. These days i've been admiring nature's beauty more, embracing friends and family more, finding more ways to be positive and loving life! |
Gf's EKG coming back perfect
Buying a 4-in-1 printer [prints, copies, faxes, scans] for $80 and finding out the replacement cartridges, black ones anyways, cost only $15 (color is like $23) After an attempt or two I got it to connect wireless-ly (and okay, after much frustration as well!) Received a call for a store supervisor position, had to ask for one next week because it falls on the gf's surgery date and I ain't having none of that! Also bought a case for the kiddo's Kindle ..Starting to think I may buy myself one! :hangloose: All in all a pretty good day and extremely productive. Would kill for a mango-pineapple smoothie though - those are the yum! Now time to start my genogram practice and then onto the family one :| |
I'm out of state, 12 1/2 hours away from my sweetheart and what does she do? She sends me flowers, had them delivered to me today with the note, "I miss you mi novia" which is "I miss you my girlfriend" in Spanish. See, she's fluent in Spanish too and she's slowly teaching me and I love it. That really made my day. Thank you, D!

Baby chickens make me happy
While in Chicago I got to go to the Museum of Science and Industry today and while I was there, I got to see baby chickens. Little chicks! They were so cute with their furry little yellow fuzz, churping as they tottled all around. I'm really into nature so I really enjoyed it. :)
