Coming home from Chicago and my 4 dogs were so happy to see me! My huskies gave me "husky hugs", that's where they jump up and put their paws on my shoulders and give me kisses :drool:. My german shepherd was so beside himself he ran circles around me. :jester: The elderly lab mix patiently waited her turn for me to love on her...she's a sweetie.

So I'm sitting on my patio eating breakfast. A tunafish and bacon sandwich on toast (yum) and the cutest little head poked around the side of the house and looked straight me. A little puppy. He was so freakin cute. He came bounding up to me, a little sheepish at first. I fed him half of my sandwich . He couldn't have been more than 6-8 weeks old. Gave him some water but he didn't drink it. Someone is going be looking for him for sure. He was not very hungry or thirsty, so I guess he didn't wonder too far. And his fur was very clean and no fleas or ticks. He spotted a turtle in the grass and just sat staring at it for a long time. Barked a little too. Then he fell asleep on my feet. So cute.

The Cowboys winning last night :) Great chats with my friends.... BFP new couples who are in love. Its so refreshing and even though I get jealous sometimes. I love seeing other happy and in love. :) Feeling so blessed.... For my health. Ive taken it for granted for so long. And even though I dont like my boss anymore. I am thankful I have a place to work. Even if it isnt the money I was making. Writing my letters to "her"... Smiling and knowing that each new day brings me closer to her :) |

(almost 34) but who's counting? oh, right.. i am!!!!! *grinz big and points towards Oregon - that's where i'm GOING! wheeeeee! :flying: - my Daddy, His support, His love, His incredible being.. i love You Mr Mtn♥ and soo blessed with the wonderful You in my life..xoxox - obeying Him, discipline, REALITY, life ♥, heartfelt smiles, an amazing and true connection of souls, and plane plans, a day of flying with my daughter, various flights, airport hangouts and excited butterflies and love, love, LOVE... - Irene passed us by, some overturned lawn decorations in my neighbourhood, fallen branches, and flying leaves and twigs, but seriously lucky she veered elsewhere... and sooo sending positive thoughts to those impacted by Irene - been watching the footage, so scary and sad =( |
My dogs, and how cute they are together. They were adorable today, all curled up asleep together. I'm so fortunate to have such cute babies. :)

I had very timidly asked if I could borrow one of their cars this weekend because mine is having issues and I'm scared to drive it (Chevy dealers have been a HUGE pain in the ass to get ANYTHING fixed under warranty)... without hesitation, they granted permission as if they had full trust in me. Today, on the way to dinner, they GAVE me the car "for a dollar". Their generosity made me hold back tears. My life is so very blessed to have such caring, awesome people that "have my back". I'm still in SHOCK of their generosity and in shock that I can FINALLY get rid of that THORN IN MY SIDE, POC Chevy Aveo. I don't know how I'm gonna pay them back, but they have certainly earned their wings in my view. |

They sky in evening. Cyan darkening under rolling clouds like a velvet coverlet sliding over satin sheets. The softest breeze, cool against my bare legs, contrasting with the radiating warmth of the pavement as I walk in solitude. Content in the moment.
