I'm way excited....
I've decided to cut the Time~Warner Cable umbilical cord.....I just received my digital antenna AND this morning, I hooked it up, disconnected the TWC box and reprogrammed my TV ALL BY MYSELF!!!!!! I'm pretty jazzed.....those of You who know me, KNOW what a challenge that was! lol OH!!! And the best part?!?!?!! The manual says I can PAINT my antenna to "match my decor"......Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!! I have finished "SPRING"....my latest canvas......picture in my Gallery. Lucy had a little "breathing episode" in the middle of the night.....it hits fast, and it's a scrary sound. All I can do is massage her throat/chest until it passes. The kittehs were scared to do and scattered (probably hid under the bed). So we went back to sleep....and then when I woke up a little later, Lucy was asleep at my feet. But the sweetest thing: the kittehs were sleeping right next to her......they love her so much. We're a lucky little family..... |
I have to give the dog his medicine for his thyroid so I hide it some cottage cheese but that's not working I think he knows the gig is up..now what??:| I have to give it to him but he is not biting. Maybe baby food is next I will get some today at the grocery store some beef or chicken flavor and hide in that ha!! to you dog!!

I have a better picture NOW than I did with TWC! Not as many channels, mind You, but I have the news....and the major stations. That's all I need. Simplifying is a lovely thing! |

I'm having the kind of week that makes me wonder if Karma is cashing in. I can't imagine what I have done lately - I swear I've been soooo good. But that has not always been true. Am I being tested? If so, I am passing with flying colors. I now face all challenges head-on. Bring it.

I'm not sure if it is colder inside or outside my flat, today.
I would really like it if the boiler started working again, by magic if necessary. I may have to make scones just to warm the space. Worse yet, I may have to clean the floors just to warm myself. :| |
I did a load of laundry. I didn't know this would include my wallet and all of the contents therein.
Said contents are now laying on my dinning room table hoping to return to their normal self. I hope the Credit and Debit cards are functional. On the bright side, I am warm. |

I have been cleaning up/out my late father's garage. It is amazing what things of a man's (or anyone's) life that feels important at the time, but not so much when someone else looks through it.
I think the most curious thing I've found so far is a large box of about 20 empty boxes of various sizes. Yet there was one lone box that had 2 glass globes in it:glasses::doh:. |
