Your very welcome Tranzman.

Pools are a lot of fun. My mom has one and I like to drive down and take my oldest niece and nephew swimming.

Have fun today,

Zimmy

Yeah I was raised over on the east coast of Florida, in Jacksonville actually so am very familiar with St. Augustine. It is a beautiful city. :) Thinking we are going to explore up and down the gulf coast a bit and may take them to Homosassa Springs as well as a nice drive down the coast one day. I have a pool so that keeps them super entertained much of the time, but I would like for them to be able to see some of our gorgeous state too. You're a great help, with wonderful ideas. Thank you :)

Hey Durrrrrr,

Hopefully you'll be done with the crazy work schedule soon and can relax.

Jesse

durrrrrrrr 07-08-2010 07:29 PM

hey y'all. this was sent to me today. read below what was said and then watch the video.

3000 vets on motorcycles from across the USA paraded in D.C. the Sunday before Memorial Day, while a solitary, saluting Marine greeted them out on Constitution Avenue... the Marine stood at salute for 3 straight hours, while the parade of roaring bikes kept on coming.... it is held in remembrance of those who've fallen in the military.... the event (or the group) is called Rolling Thunder... George Bush used to meet these bikers before they parade**.. the camera is on the Marine a lot... watch his struggles with his emotions, and his struggles with holding that salute... the way he salutes is very touching... his head lowered, his eyes down, in reverence for the fallen... I can imagine what he was feeling... and as I watched him, I could feel it too.... it got to be overwhelming for him... and the tears started flowing... watch what he says when he finally breaks, but keeps right on holding that salute...

Good morning, fellow paradise dwellers. It is another beautiful day here in Gulfport.

100%femme - welcome to the Florida thread (f)

Grant - I am glad you are enjoying your visit to Florida. Watch those feet at the water's edge, though...it's stingray season and you don't want to step on a cranky stingray :|

The princess and I are off in a short bit to get our vacation fingers and toes done. My husband will be home from work around 2 and then the officially Strutt family vacation will begin.

Eleven days. No makeup. No worrying about doing my hair. No wearing all black. Sheer heaven :cheer:

JustJo 07-09-2010 07:03 AM

Happy vacationing Florida people! :cheesy:

I wish I had my toes in the water too...
