I have learned to lie to doctors about my milk intake.

Years ago, the nurse at my doctor's office called to report routine tests. She said my cholesterol (<<<---spelling?? unsure) was high and began questioning me about what I ate that could be causing it. Then she asked about dairy products, did I drink milk and if so, how much. I told her I usually average about 3 gallons a week. She jumped on that, gave me instructions not to be drinking that much milk every week because it was elavating my cholesterol. I said okay and that I would cut back per her specific instructions.

Today, as well as since then, I drink about 3 gallons of milk a week.

To be perfectly honest, I find I become stressed if there is less than a gallon in my fridge at all times.

I will never tell the truth about how much milk I consume to any medical people again. They get right fussy. If milk takes me out prematurely, so be it.

Gosh, after all I lived through during addiction years, it would be humiliating to die of too much milk consumption. LOL! Here's an example of a funny I was thinking about the other day --->>> Around 22 years of age, I had a 90 year old woman open the door of her mobile home and shove a pistol in my face. It was the middle of the night, freezing cold, no coat in the car, walked (correction: side-winded) half a mile down a country road til I saw lights. I had blown the left rear tire on that firebird formula on this pigtrail road. *laughing now, not funny then*

In rooms of recovery, we call it "relief" laughter. ;)

When awaken in the middle of the night have trouble going back to sleep. I never used to be like that. I used to be able to sleep anytime/anywhere...

I am GOING to own a Tiffany lamp one day, with dragonflies on it. It can be a knock off but I am going to have one!

Getting to know you

I must have a tool obsession or I am just a "do it yourself" kind of guy. I have enough automotive tools to open my own shop. I have home repair tools for plumbing, electrical, and home decorating.

Also, I have collected and inherited enough fishing equiptment to start that business.

I collected horse tack...saddles, bridles, bits, blankets, brushes, girths, boots, leggings, saddlebags, stable blankets, etc. I accumulated them over time, enough to fill a 10 x 18 shed! For one horse! Now that I have rehomed her (to a WONDERFUL home) I am in the process of selling off all that tack. Its daunting. I open the doors to that shed and get overwhelmed. I think some of it has to do with grieving too..I no longer and Teah the horse lady. I am horseless. I miss her, and even tho I know it was the right thing to do, I grieve.

I need to find something new to collect. A new hobby...

I have saltwater fishing in my blood. If the fish aren't biting then go crabbing or shrimping. Some folks harvest oysters too. To me saltwater is the full meal deal. :)

I went on an all female catch-and-release fly fishing retreat last summer. It was so peaceful and I learned a lot!

I have never fly fished. I should put that on my bucket list.

I seem to be living the catch and release culture. Haha!
