MGM has delayed “Respect,” the Aretha Franklin biopic starring Jennifer Hudson, by seven months from Jan. 15 to Aug. 13 in the latest shuffle of a major title amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

I believe this is now airing in theaters as well as Streaming Online at Hulu

This was good and she was excellent! I can see why she won the Golden Globe!

moe, ty for showing that trailer. I had no idea she had that out. I just saw another of hers with interview (boy she has changed). Tina Turner is one of the greatest entertainers of all time and I am glad I have about any piece of video I could get my hands on. I saw her way way back in a movie and loved her ever since. Her voice is soft as silk and gut wrenching as hell. I saw her at the Royal York a long time ago for a floor show (no stage) and I sat about 30 feet from her enjoying my dinner.

Both of these actors were on CBS Sunday Morning today to promote the movie. They certainly have a lot of good chemistry between them!

This looks awesome and I'm thinking that I just might brave the pandemic to go see this on the big screen. If you ask my partner and I......Lady Gaga is so worth it.

I JUST saw the trailer and indeed Lady Gaga looks amazing in the role from what I saw!
