I am no longer hankering to Wrangle the next round.

I pass on it this time. :byebye: Life is running amok right now.

I AM heading
to the Post Office today with 9 original pieces on their way to Ami. :hangloose:

JakeTulane 04-02-2010 04:18 PM

Tommi,

Thank you again for the PM's with the info, etc on where to send My bracelet donations. As I has mentioned.. I have decided to donate all 7 of the breast cancer awareness bracelets that I have made. I will also add in 2 other bracelets of a different style.

I will be getting everything out to you in Monday's mail.

Thanks again.
Jake

As a side note.. I will be interested in joining in on the next "project". I had thought about volunteering to be the next wrangler. However, if someone else is on board with that.. that is cool.

You should have it already from the last round I wrangled. I know it's hard to hold onto that stuff though, so I'll pm it again.

Duly noted. So, when this round is complete, we'll figure out who would like to head the next round. I'm always up for it but if someone who hasn't done one yet would like to do so, let us know. :)

Sounds like a plan, if everyone else is fine with it! Give this round time to finish completely and be thinking about what you'd like to have for the topic, what parameters you'd like, etc and let us know later on.

Mine went out yesterday via USPS Priority Mail.

Wranglin' this one should be fun. :cowboy:

Mine are all similar but different, and I learned alot about glue. I should have used duct :duct: tape, and maybe they would have come out better!!. But, I didn't quit...:training:. Enjoyed the adventure Amiyesiam , yes indeed I did.

Tommi 04-03-2010 10:35 AM

Not a Project, just a request.

Later on , down the road, I am going to ask for some help with the Reunion Raffle for those that are good with decorating and glue, and things, etc.

Well I'll ask now. Looks like I will need over 50 little bags to hold raffle tickets for each of the donated gifts. (See link) . Was wondering if some of the crafty people on here would like to be creative and send decorated gift bags..On each bag, write or print a description, who donated it , the designated number on the list, and your name as the bag maker . Decorated with any kind of glitter, deco, etc you can come up with. I think the variety, and made from a thread on this site, would be fun

Not a project, per se, just a NEED. I f interested, please pick a number range and sign up.....
Otherwise I buy those brown lunch bags and use magic marker..:2butch:

Diva 04-03-2010 11:57 AM

I know You're not going to believe this....but I actually HAVE those little brown bags.....so I'll get started, ok? <smile> It'll be fun.....and it'll keep me off the streets.

My back was beginnin' to hurt anyway..... :olympics:

Oh, shush, you. :giggle:

Do you mean the little brown lunch bags from back in the day that you can still buy a pack of like, 100, at a time? If so, I have some of them too, but I'm not sure how many.

How many do you need altogether, Tommi? I know there's a lot of items. :)

ami, I gave my package to a friend and they went to the post office (since the closest one to me that's open on Saturday is waaaay across town) to mail it out today!

I stayed up til 6am finishing the buggers. A couple were still tacky (darn rubber cement!) when I put them in the baggies, so I hope they arrive in good condition.

Soft*Silver 04-03-2010 04:49 PM

I did NOT get my package out today in the mail. I do not have a car! I forgot all about this little piece of valuable information! My sister has been using my car while her son uses hers..he had a car accident that totalled his!

I can get it out on Monday...geeezzzz...I work hard to get them all done and I ruin it by forgetting I dont have a car...

they turned out good...I like them!

Looking forward to more!

Oh...Gemme and Ami...thanks for the addys. I packed up my office partially and the address book went into an already sealed box....

Ditto. I'd be open to doing a round using this process again in the future. I'm not totally happy with a good portion of my work, as I couldn't seem to extrapolate the image from my head and plunk it down on the cards, and it was difficult as all get out, but I also enjoyed myself immensely.

Thank you, ami!

cara 04-07-2010 07:31 PM

whee! so glad they arrived quickly. thank you for wrangling, ami!!! :) i loved this project, too. it took me awhile to figur out exactly what to do, but i think mine turned out alright. i am going to skip the next round since i am planning to move and work/love life are exploding with possibilities and new opportunities. :stillheart: cara

ami...would you mind holding onto my package for a few extra days? I am in the midst of moving and my mailing address changes on April 14th..and I dont know how soon it would take that package to get to me. It might just fall into the grey zone and I worry about losing it!

So...if you could hold onto it until that weekend (the 16 or 17) and mail it to my new addy?

I will PM you the addy..or do you have it already..the princess street addy?
