What made me smile today....
Waking up cuddled behind her back this morning, and hitting the snooze just one more time. D's mom had been in the hospital for almost a week, so she's been staying with her. It was nice to finally have my boo back home... the house was just too quiet without her. Driving up to work with the Monday blahs ~ and seeing the man had planted some pretty new flowers in front of my office this morning. One more big ol' red X on the calendar... only 16 more days till the Reunion :) |

Christmas this year is gonna rock!
Making Christmas vacation plans for Myrtle Beach, South Carolina! I'll be on the beach staying in a place that has two bedrooms, is approx. 1,290 sq. ft. Features a king bed in each master room and a sofa bed in each living room. There are two full baths and two full kitchens. Amenities include: washer/dryer, and a balcony! How sweet is that?! Sure is gonna beat where I normally spend my winters.

I was able to put on my skinny jeans this morning, the ones from before I had my son! today is gonna be a good day!

new beginnings, and such. 3 days left. really loud, deep music pounding the walls, and kick ass coffee. being in the house this morning packing for my move... well, playing here in between makes me smile too! now granted, i'm only moving 20 minutes away, but it's all mine... my turn. some lovely memories here in these now empty walls, some excruciating ones too. old love, past journey's, pain, healing, new beginnings, patience, new edges here too. i was so happy here once... then it crumbled beneath me, and i fought back, before it destroyed me. now it's time to fly free, on my own wings of faith. smiling, cuz it's time to break the habit, and fly from the inside. :) |

an early morning call from my mom asking me to go to lunch today! texts from friends full of excitement about the Reunion! |

the fact that at 10 am tomorrow I am getting my cast off :hangloose: I will be able to shower again . I think.. yet while being happy I am scared to bits Desd reminded me I may not be able to put weight on the foot just yet I know I have rehab to go still
the what ifs are haunting me just a bit BUT I gotta Cowboy up I am so very blessed I have a wonderful woman who loves cares and supports me a daughter that would nurse me 24-7 if she could a job that takes care of me and will be there when I get back to fighting form:fastdraq: I got a lot more then a lot of folks and I would be remiss if I did not say all my friends here at the wonderful Planet that have sent good thoughts and wishes y'all rock (f) |

Concert time!
I got to go to a Melissa Etheridge concert last night (10-1-11)!! She is so active on stage! She makes the funniest faces! We had 7th row VIP seating, thank you MEIN membership! It was a literal lesbian fest! So many beautiful butches and femmes, it was nice to see the community out in force.
