I'm diggin' this being home at 4:30pm, I can make dinner. The Boy may also be overjoyed to not have cold cut sandwiches 5 nights a week.

Half a Hickory Cristo from Roly Poly - maybe my last! The owner told me they're discontinuing brie and dill horseradish sauce. After he runs out, he can't order any more. The melty grilled brie was the best reason to go to Roly Poly - I can get a pedestrian ham sandwich with plastic cheese anywhere. The primo ingredients are what make Roly Poly interesting! :vigil:

ruffryder 12-03-2011 09:34 PM

leftover from lunch KFC chicken strips with honey mustard. bottled water.

Do you put the carrots in the mac n cheese? Do you cook them first, if you do? Maybe you should mix it with Matthew's creamed corn? Inquiring minds want to know.

I love this thread! It is so interesting to see the different types of food that folks eat. I think Ruffry eats the best because he has steak all the time.

Today, ( I usually eat my biggest meal early in the day) I had a big chef salad with lettuce, tomato, onion, cuke, hard-boiled eggs, colby cheese, smoked ham, croutons and Thousand Island dressing and some garlic toast. Then I had some Stouffers Lasagna (microwaved).

For desert I had a couple of Cella's chocolate (dark) covered cherries and a cup of hot tea.

Now I am sipping on a gin & tonic with fresh lime.

For some reason, you saying about a veggie burger has just reminded me I need to go and put some beans into soak overnight for a bean and veggie chilli.....Thanks for that! It would have meant vegan beef or chicken pieces again! :D

lol... no to the carrots in the mac n cheese; they were on the side and yes they were blanched. i can't eat them too crunchy because of my ugly betty's. i try to stay away from corn because it's a gmo and high in starch and sugar. :)
