Thinking about how proud I am of my twin. She's lost over 42 lbs since December. I noticed this weekend when she was in her new bathing suit, she really is starting to look more and more like my twin again. Except her hair is a little longer than mine.

The Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity is facing a $25 million lawsuit over the alcohol-related hazing death of a Cornell University student, reports the AP. George Desdunes, 19 years old and already a full-fledged member of the frat, had his hands and feet bound in a mock kidnapping ritual and was forced to drink alcohol until he passed out, according to the wrongful death lawsuit filed by his mother.
Desdunes was found on a frat house couch the next morning with his hands and feet still bound, according to the suit, which accuses one pledge of attempting to remove the zip ties around the teen's hands and feet before police arrived. "With the death of my son, I find some comfort in knowing that this lawsuit may bring about changes in fraternities that will prevent other families from suffering," his mother says. Cornell revoked the fraternity's recognition after the death. |

I've come to the conclusion that cats don't like it when you sleep. I used to think they wake you up because they wanted to eat, but I have since learned that that isn't the case. Nothing says "I love you mommy" as you wake up with toys all over you and having your toes chewed on as you attempt to sleep in.
Me thinks a certain someone of the feline purrr-suasion will have they're belly molested as he tries to get some sleep today. He will learn that what goes around, comes back around with a vengeance in this house. *evil smirk* |

I just heard this on the news, yesterday was a hot dog eating contest.....the winner ate 30 hot dogs, buns and all, in five minutes..... thats over 9,000 calories........ok I'm not sure why one would want to brag about that?????:seeingstars: back to sipping my gatorade. |

I'm finally finished for the day. Grocery shopping done, car is washed, watered the garden and the flowers, cleaned the house which included vacuuming both floors and the basement, did a couple of loads of laundry, put said clothes away, worked out and showered.
*breathe* Now I just have to prep so Mare can make Her killer burgers on the grill. |
That after a three day weekend on top of waking up with the "ickies", I really don't want to go to work tonight. Or it could just be the meds I've taken today that have kept me drowsy all day. Or that I would rather be watching fireworks. Or something. Maybe it's all a combination of why I don't wanna go.

Right now the complements I have gotten about my daughter she went to a department softball game with her aunt and now some of the officers who were there are saying how sweet and well behaved she is I know she is a great kid just it is nice to hear so I guess my EX and I are doing something right..
Also thinking how I must have won the girlfriend lottery or something cause I am one lucky guy :cigar2: this past week with Desd and my daughter seeing just how our little famliy just fits.. this is really something I had never experienced before the welcoming from Desd whole family to me and my little one guess you could say I am just overwhelmed but in a very good way:rrose: |

1. I keep seeing a commercial for those weird "pajama jeans". I want to buy some to wear around the house and maybe pair them with some leg warmers and a side ponytail. 2. I made a sugarless, crustless, saltless pumpkin pie. I substituted the sugar for Splenda and am completely surprised that it doesn't taste like an ass. It's actually decent and I would eat it again. 3. Mumford and Sons is good on the treadmill. 4. Bubbles. 5. Sweet potatoes. |

I spent almost 2 hours being passed around from office to office with lots of "oh, wait, maybe you should try calling this number..." often being passed back to the office before, only to find out that the one person who could help and the one I had to talk to ... was off work sick
