I did participate, but around..Oh...3 pm, I almost threw the "towel" {or rather, closed my Tablets notepad}, here I am...some Joe Blow in a small town, exhausting my fingers typing reasons, and showing pamphlet...even during Dialysis... I watch tv, and who's talkin up a storm? Ellen.... Ok, she's mainstream, and has a public job with ratings. She's also got creative License last I checked, to create far more awareness on the Purpose of the day. If she can discuss her marriage to Portia, have silly segments with Portia, cry about a Pooch..... Celebrate her marriage, be pissed off about Prop 8... Surely she can spare 1 show to prove the point of many a Students bullied Plight. She has to talk? ummm....So do I ...{pointing to Doctors, nurses, techs, paramedics, waitresses :mohawk:} She could've used her "clout", that they record shows before they are aired? I'm more than sure she was aware of this day, it is her show, could've recorded 1 episode related to it... I'm not expecting her to be the Lesbian/Queer Messenger , however, if she can discuss other issues... You'd think this one would be amongst them, after all... Didn't she make an HBO short film, a certain boy tries killing himself because he's gay and faces issues at school??.... Bah! :blink: /random rant |

Thought I would pop in after my OVER LONG absence from this place with a very big :sorry: and a little bit of a story as to what has kept me away.
A lot of things have changed. I quit :cigar:... YAY ME!!! I'm single again, and I really don't want to talk about that one... :censor: Lately I feel a little like my life has been highjacked :pirate-steer: My tax return came in :2cents: so I bought a new :carride:which is already broken down. I also paid off some debt, including an old student loan. Since that isn't hanging over my head anymore... I decided to go back to school :glasses: THIS means, that a lot of my extra time now goes to :reader: text books. I got pneumonia :cough: and I am still recovering from that. My sons medication has stopped working so well, so hes a little.... :freak: And I'm just :praying: that the new medication we started works better. I may be moving soon and I'm still :deepthoughts: about everything that that involves. Over all I guess I am still feeling a little like this.... :brainsucker: ... and maybe this.... :overreaction: I'm really hoping to get back my :ohm: |

Since I saw my first fan dance, I was hooked... So imagine my excitement when they made a whole movie about it... with CHER!!!! So... after eons of waiting for it to come out on netflix... It came... We watched IT SUCKED!!!!!!!!!!!! The music didn't save it, the costumes didn't save it, the dancing didn't save it... CHER didn't save it... I mean... A pussycat dolls vidieo had more heat than this movie... whine... Showgirls was better... |
For some unknown reason, I was watching one of those tv preachers spouting off today. And, I found myself wondering......God managed to create an exquisitely intricate universe and all contained within. So why does humankind think He needs their help to interpret His Word? Do people really think He is incapable of getting a message across without their unique interpretation of it? |

my beautiful,sweet,white,ADD kitty--gracie ann--has taken to following me to the kitchen,circling like a lion,then follows me back to the couch and INSISTS on trying whatever it is i am eating---we can now add pb&j to her growing least of food she likes.

Mitmo has discovered a secret weapon.
I do believe she is chortaling with joy over it. The other day she was heading out for a bit, but didn't want to take a shower first. Now if you look up the word, *Bed Head* the picture next to the word is my babies hair when she wake up. ( Let's just say that snookie doesn't a a thing on mitmo's beehive/bumpett.) So her going out of the house without attenting to her hair is NOT something that is done... She didn't brush it out or put on a hat... She pulled her hair back into a low ponytail. oh my... She came swaggering into the study in her camos and with that hair all slicked back from that beautiful face and a bolt of lust hit me so hard I almost started sweating. oh my... Needless to say when I came in from school later on that evening, she had bathed and slicked back that hair again... Deliberate action... oh my..... BLUSH.... I have informed her that she may not use this new power for evil, nor shall she use it to get her way... She just laughed a slighty evil laugh.. I don't know if I should be worried or now... Grin... I like the power structure in my house just fine and do not want to become a sex slave.... |
