Everyone is afraid of rejection. Rejection is definitely not pleasant. However, at our ages (1. we should all be acting like adults here) we should be able to say "I am flattered but I do not feel the same way", and guess what....we all go about our day. We can choose to drop it and still talk because we value the friendship..... or we can let it eat us up inside, feel like a fool and never speak to that person again.

But stay with me here JDeere....what if they do feel the same way and the both of you have been wasting time not making a move? What if it turns out to be something truly amazing? Is it worth the risk?

haha. Yes, that quote has gotten me into trouble often. However, I definitely do not regret decisions I have made when I have utilized it. No matter how poorly the results turned out because it meant that I at least tried.

Definitely not alone, Jedi. Got several crushes on BFP and any given time. Shut my eyes, they're right there. Fall asleep, and they appear. Fun, mischief, wild scenes and sex.

Too bad the body areas I expect to have residual sensation are as they were when I fell asleep....too bad!

Yes I do and she knows it. She is a member here but rarely logs in or posts. It is complicated. First, she is way too young for this old guy and lives in a distant state. Furthermore, we are both caregivers so it is a no win situation. We have been dear friends for more than 2 years and are destined to remain dear friends.
