I went to the mailbox...found a letter from the tax department..opened it...put it back in the envelop...stuck it at the bottom of a pile of stuff on my desk...the world's a mess and yet they still want me to pay taxes...wtf: let me see some results first.

Read up on more paperwork disided to make and cook chili so that's what I did and I'll have a late lunch/dinner today with a side salad and a glass of sweet tea.

Work has been great today! Accomplished a lot! I see a nice bonus in my future. :D

Accomplished
I went to the dentist and the specialist, bought flowers at the hardware store, got a hair cut, had a great Mexican food lunch and a Margarita, and took a short nap.

Had a great meeting at work, won an incentive bonus ;) - then off at noon to start the holiday weekend. Came home and had a short nap, now just enjoying the evening.

Worked out in the yard and garden.
Drove up to a family gravesite and watered the flowers there. Took a short nap. (that works for my second day off) |
Went to Wal Mart to get a few things, then back home to do laundry.

I put stuff together!!! That's an accomplishment all by itself but I also spent 2-3 hours cleaning and polishing my buffet, organizing my craft room and breaking down boxes for recycling. I also returned a couple of movies and picked up steak this morning for breakfast today and tomorrow's dinner. Gasoline was purchased, as was one of the utility carts I put together, and I returned a dress. My DVR is less crowded and I have more floor space in the craft room so I'm a happy girl. It's a bonus that I got to actually do some crafting and painting today.

Worked on 8 xmas trees...ruching and beading That was the relaxing part! Oh, yeah, add watering my quaint cute garden! |
Yesterday - came up with a new cake recipe. Had some super over ripe bananas. Hubby asked for banana bread but I decided to try making a cake instead. Used a recipe from my grandmother as a guide. Hubby loved it so I'll be making that for him again.

Watched sunrise over the bay with my sweetie Saw manatee & dolphin....:) Met up with a friend & went to the Craft Vendors at the 4th July Firecracker event...bought a tee shirt & some SF ice cream...:). Packed up cars & drove home Picked up my thumbdrive with the artwork on it Ran to grocery store Swam in pool with my sweet lady Showered Picked up some dinner...Chinese takeout....:) Watched Macy's 4th July special Now doing some work on my craft pieces will retire with my honey in a bit...she is THE best parts of my AM & PM....:) |
