I'm treating myself to Victoria and Abdul. I'm very much looking forward to it. I'm the only one here. A little treat for myself. This is where I saw my first movie.

DC and I went to a free screening for Goodbye Christopher Robin. It was pretty good. What do you think?
I watched a couple of Redbox movies while it rained during the day. This movie was visually appealing but ticked me off. Maybe I'm too old but the selfish and immature decisions of most of the characters just got under my skin. Yes, I do get that he's supposed to be 14 but he's also supposed to be intelligent. I spent half the movie shaking my head. I think my transition to curmudgeon is complete. I also saw this movie. I was far less irritated with this movie than the previous movie. It met my expectations and was really cute. |
The Driving Lesson on Netflix. A terrific little film.

I'm really not one for movies in general but I did go see "Loving Vincent" last weekend. I really enjoyed it as the entire film was "animated in oil paintings". Instead of using computer generated graphics they took two years to hand paint each scene so it flowed as an endless "who done it" movie. The description is;
"In a story depicted in oil painted animation, a young man comes to the last hometown of painter Vincent van Gogh to deliver the troubled artist's final letter and ends up investigating his final days there." Unable to post a video link here but several are on YouTube should you wish to view them. Katniss~~ (I do want to see "Goodbye Christopher Robin" as the preview looked good) |
I made DC watch Guardians of the Galaxy 2 this morning and He just made me watch Finding Neverland this evening.
Both were excellent in their own way. |
Get Out
HBO is showing Get Out tomorrow night at 8:00 PM.
It was a pretty amazing horror film but not in the usual sense of the word. Well, maybe, but not how you would possibly expect. 97% critic and 87% viewer scores Rotten Tomatoes. Loved it. -K |
It was a swashbuckling adventure, as anticipated. |
Movie
Last night I saw A Bad Moms Christmas. It is hilarious! We laughed and laughed. It has an all star cast that make comedy look easy. Susan Sarandon always makes me smile.
It is rated R for language and adult situations. This is a fun adult movie. I recommend it. :cheesy: |
Esther it's a good movie of suspense ok i've laughed too but that girl was lovely before she goes berseck on that family! ^^

I'm currently watching Necessary Roughness again.

Despite the Falling Snow (2016)
In Cold War Moscow, a female spy steals secrets from an idealistic politician - and falls in love with him. I enjoyed it, my only complaint is that it's told in a lot of flashback scenes and it was a tad hard to keep up if you didn't pay real close attention  |
I haven't seen it yet because it comes out in theater's on November 22nd, but I plan to see the movie that is about Charles Dickens' An Christmas Carol. The movie title is:
The Man Who Invented Christmas. Here's a movie trailer, in case others might be interested: |
