Got my kid to and from her theater gig.
Worked during the hours between driving.
Got an oil change.
Cooked a healthy breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
A little bit of work on my MSW application, but not enough.
Read a couple chapters of my book club book.

I drove 4 hours to the out skirts of Houston, had a 3 hour meeting, and drove 4 hours back home. The total work day was 12.5 hours.

I am certain there was something...

I bagged 2 new projects --always a good feeling. Also in the past three days I have closed out 2 others-- cha-ching. I am happy and in turn my boss is happy. Feels good when a project comes in under what we bid --makes for a good start to the weekend.

Saw tons of patients...
Lots of ph calls
Did endless paperwork...
Learned a new software...
Smiled a big smile
Greeted a friend...
And welcomed week's end lmao

I went grocery shopping!

... and I am going to do laundry later.

I went to see Ghostbusters and loved it.I'm happy I chose not to see it in 3-D because I think amplifying all that action and intensity would have done me in.

Created a recovery plan for a test failure.

Wrote my portion of my group assignment.

Hunted down a book I've been wanting to read.

And the best thing today... I took a nap!

I guess that's enough for one day.

So far, not a thing. But, I am going to head out in a bit and buy another a/c unit. and maybe hunt down a "new friend" with a pool. (It worked for Sweet Bliss it can work for me) ;)

I got the A/C unit and installed it. I am now sitting in some wonderfully cool air. Sadly, I have not found a new friend with a pool, but I will not give up hope. ;)

Bought a dress... ate a sandwich... drove through vermont... bought a surprise 😉...

Worked at the dog kennel, went to produce stand, gave spouse her shower, cooked, did laundry and hung it out, poured spouse's meds, cleaned house a little, now relaxing before bed.:hangloose::hangloose:

Changed the batteries in the smoke alarms.

3-yards mowed weed eated & weeds pulled from flower beds.. Kitchen & 2-bathrooms, dinner fixed @ 2-differant houses..

I landed a bid to refurbish the front entryway and 4 other locations within one of our State Parks here. I am stoked !! My company will be doing almost all of the ground work (meaning water, sewer, electrical, etc.) as well as widening walkways, and building a brand new entertainment venue!!

I have bid on many jobs but this one is close to my heart because it is helping beautify something that the general public can enjoy!!
