Mopsie puffs are potato puffs you probably call them something else. I buy them frozen put them in the oven and they are like crispy fries shaped like your hush puppies.

Fried cod fillets with basmati rice and steamed asparagus. Ice tea.

Turkey and noodles

I think tonight will be baked chicken thighs, asparagus, sweet potato.

Mardi Gras dessert was scrumptious!
 

Last night I made a simple garden salad, for Rico and I.

For dessert, we had a small portion of Mardi Gras King Cake, from Shreveport, Louisiana. It came with a baby doll and purple Mardi Gras beads.

Fried sirloin and a green salad. Ice tea.

Chicken and mashed potatoes

- Porterhouse steak
- mashed potatoes
- corn
- maybe some applesauce

Garden salad with extra cherry tomatoes, avocado dices, and grated cheddar cheese. Topped with Thousand Island salad dressing. Wateloo black cherry sparking water, now I see why it was in the mark down/closeout bin – ick!

A salad by my friend Linda. Included butter lettuce, some kind of Japanese lettuce, Arugula, radishes, sprouts, avocado, tomatoes, etc. So good. She was one of the best cooks at the company where I last worked and she’s one of my friends who is helping me move.

She wanted to bring me a chicken casserole on rice, but I can’t afford the gluten and high carbs that would inflame my arthritis.

I would gladly be her sous chef in the kitchen and I will miss her meals.

- chicken and rice
- mixed veggie casserole - this is so good, I haven't made it in a long while because of the calories - it has lots of cheese - but it has been on my mind for about a month. I might as well give in and make it. It's my go-to potluck dish.

I'm in the computer room, but I heard Mary chopping & dicing, rustling pots and pans plus some fanatic's aromas are wafting my way so god only knows what she's all throwing together! If I had to bet, my money would be on spaghetti with meat sauce and Italian Sausage links.....:eating:
