The day my parents and I adopted Peanut, a retired show pony. I was 9. So was she. Lots of little girls want a pony. I got one. My parents rule. One salty, sunshiny summer day that I spent running up and down the Florida shoreline fishing, swimming and crabbing with my brother and cousins. I think I was about 11 and I lost my grandmother's favorite hat that day. But she still loved me ;) The summer I was 13 and my parents took me and my brother to Disney World for just 1 day ('cause theme parks are 'spensive, y'all). My Dad's knee was messed up from a bad spill at work that year so we had to push him about in a wheelchair. Which turned out to be kind of accidentally awesome because the guy in the wheelchair with wife and cute kids in tow went straight to the head of the line for all the rides :D GM3 favorite articles of clothing that you currently own. |

Breakfast: Quiche Lorraine. Mimosas and/or an Irish coffee. A few chocolate covered strawberries to finish. Lunch: Roasted chicken with roasted butternut squash and a chef salad. Angel biscuits w/homemade preserves. (bought from a church fundraiser -- I'm not "that" good. LOL) Sweet tea to drink. And chocolate cake for dessert. Dinner: Rigatoni in bechamel sauce w/Fontina cheese and prosciutto. A side of asparagus. White wine to drink. (Or a pale ale if they prefer.) For dessert, caramel fondue w/fruit and cake. GM3 good reasons to stay awake past your bedtime ... |
