My wife resuming her old four day work week. She has been needed at the office, so she has had to do five day weeks for a couple months now and it ( with the travel back and forth) is taking its toll on her.
We will be trying to find a second home in Richmond ( if her current week day living situation doesn't improve) so that I can go up every other week and help take care of her and she has a peaceful place to rest during her work week. We have worked very hard on our home and love it. It provides a safe place for our boy to begin his young adult life and provides us a great deal of autonomy in a world too filled with senseless distractions. We have peace and love. Now, toss in a little more happy adult fun time and we're good. LOL! |

I'm looking forward to getting my office set up with the new stainless steel restaurant prep table I just got from a lady at work. Lots of work space...FINALLY!

As always I have a list...
Not to mention that I am looking forward to all those things that Jess posted up there... I am looking forward to (a) being home tomorrow night instead of midnight on Friday! (b) floating in the pool, frosty adult beverages and the new underwater disco pool light! (c) Lucinda Williams Tuesday night and having Jess in Richmond as a bonus! (d) Melissa Ethridge the following week and a much needed night out with our girl friends, replete with a driver! and most of all, I am looking forward to rolling into our drive tomorrow, my pink sunset over the mountains, the schnauzer parade happily announcing my arrival to a 4 square mile radius, the boy on standby to unload the car and Jess waiting on the porch, arms open and my safe place ready. |
Seeing an old friend in about an hour to catch up, have a couple drinks, laugh and playfully flirt. Ahhhh the joys of down time!! :byebye:

very excited and looking forward to hearing from the Recruiter for the AMAZING Insurance Claims Executive resume and application I completed recently!! *Keeping fingers crossed, rubbing good luck froggy charm, and doing happy dance* this job would definitely help pay off my college and car loans faster than my current job. If I get the job, it will be time to treat to a Spa Day and Dinner to celebrate with friends!!
