Logging on to the planet to find a visitor message from Medusa saying I had won a community spirit award at the reunion! I didn't even know we had awards that's awesome!!! I'm so excited ! What a wonderful surprise . Not sure what I did to win but I'm very thankful to whoever chose me. Thank you for making. me feel valued, I love this place and all the people who make up this place. Even if we disagree from time to time. This place rawks!!!

My school's Senior football team won the game and are on their way to the semi-final.
I *finally* went to support them on this beautiful fall day and was so glad I attended! They were happy to see me and all the other fans supporting them too. :) |
Calling Her when my car wouldn't start and hearing that sweet voice say "It will be ok". And then taking the lead by getting me phone numbers i needed and direction on exactly what to do.
It made my world all better. :) |

Eating lunch with my son, as a family for his birthday. No fights, no arguments. Just smiles and pictures (begrudgingly), but I got them!
Oh, and I went to stick class; I love that class. I have a bandaid on a finger and one of the guys in the class wanted to sign my "cast" for my finger :). That made me smile. |
Checking the weather and discovering that the crappy weather will be out of Philadelphia by the time I get there on Sunday! Looking forward to attending the National Safety Council 2011 Expo there!

Today I am smiling because I am off seeing it is going to be a beautiful day here. I checked out my orange trees out back and can see it won't be long until I will be picking some fresh oranges. "smiles"

When one of the inmates said this is the happiest she has ever seen me in the 2 years she has been here. Funny how being in love does that! :)
Watching Takota standing up on the bed this morning trying to grab the ceiling fan. He did this the entire time I was getting ready for work! The innocence and silliness of puppies! Knowing that Dodger will be moved back to where he belongs today and will be cared for and loved so very much until the spring when I get him moved to Florida. Momma Pam loves the blue eyed dragon as much as me and will be so good to him :) |
My granddaughter laying on my shoulder, looking at me and talking as if she's holding a normal conversation. Even though it was FOUR AM it was still a beautiful moment that made my face and heart smile.

Ok it wasn't today but...
...me, my lady and her best friend went to Fright Farm the night before last... and by the time we passed Leatherface and entered the dark maze I had two lovely, shrinking little peeps behind me with such a death grip on my arm I may have lost circulation for a bit there... it's still def making me smile...

seeing the headband my daughter made for my costume tonight via cell text. She had it on her head and she looked like the kid she once was, all full of smiles and giggles, so proud of doing something for her mom.
I am going as wet laundry...lol. I am pinning and then clothespining an asst of clothes and hand towels on my clothes,but her headband full of socks (only one of each, they got lost in the wash..lol) pulls it all together there is a wiccan ceromony at the lodge tonight. The party we are going to is a wiccan party. I am so thrilled to be invited! |

Having Dodger load in the trailer like a champ! I have been dreading moving him for a coupole days now bc loading him has been a feat ever since he got hurt in one 6 years ago...today, he walked up to it, snorted, and walked right in! I think he knew Mommy needed a Proud moment! He is so happy being back at my friend's place, and I'm so much more relaxed about leaving him here til spring! :)
Catching the puppy butt with his head in the garbage..when he looks up, his lil black face is Covered in flour! (I breaded chicken earlier). He looked like a lil mime!! I think he is telling me he wants to trick or treat! A very sexy picture of my very sexy guy :) |

i volunteered to work tonight for one of my employees...on the way in i stopped and got about $20 worth of candy for any kids who might come in..a few kids came in and just helped themselves,but several of them came in and just stood there looking at me,so l squatted down so i was eye level with them,told them to take a handful,so tentatively they would take 2-3 pieces and glance at me so i said here let me use my hand they are bigger.....their eyes got huge,smiles from ear to ear and a few of them even tried to knock me over by hugging me.....that was the best $20 ive spent in a LONG time!

My frogs' vet office called today and they want little Ivan to be November's "Pet of the Month". They'll put his picture up on their web site and their Facebook page/gallery, and they'll let me submit a little paragraph about him. :awww::frog:

Didn't sleep very well last night. This morning after I let the furbaby out for her morning run I fed & watered her and I went back to bed.
I had the blankets pulled up and was almost back to sleep when I thought I heard someone come in my room. I looked over and there was my furbaby - - her head on the bed and looking so sad that she didn't have anyone to play with. So - - - no lie-in for me! I am at work and oh so tired right now! |
