making a new bird feeder out of an empty plastic tub of cat litter that has a handle on it.
The birds LOVE it.... for those who are baking hams & turkeys etc this year...wait until the grease is mostly cooled...pour into your container. Add bird seed. Freeze. Using a knife, cut out a three sided opening down to the level the food is at, and fold the flap down. I duct taped my down. I creased the edge some to make support for the birds to perch on. as they eat down the food and suet, use the flap to cut down more of the plastic so they can reach. |

Exchanging emails with a wonderful new friend ~ she is so easy to talk to and has made Me smile alot this past week through the few crappy things I've had to deal with ........... a new friend is a great xmas present :D

Serving lunch today to the staff and clients of the adult services organization in my office building. Every year my boss treats the staff and their clients to a Christmas lunch. We look forward to it as much as they do. The clients are some of the sweetest and most wonderful people. The gentleman who said the blessing this afternoon gave thanks for my boss and her little dog (they consider him their mascot). After lunch they gave my boss a card signed by everyone and a fruit basket - she struggled not to cry.
