beautiful young love ♥ my gorgeous once stepson just got married this past weekend in cancun and oh... is there anything more precious? it was a stunning beach wedding complete with turquoise colored water, a barefoot groom in a very formal sand colored linen suit and a bride that rivals kate middleton in every way possible. truly bright brilliant beautiful love* i'll probably be smiling for a very long time.

My BFF brought me a cup of hot, delicious coffee in the middle of my 10-hour work shift from hell. She is awesomesauce. :)

Driving over to Jo's earlier this evening to hang woth Rooster for the night I see this elderly(80+) couple sitting outside their garage,and the husband was playing what looked like a ukelele,AND appeared to be singing. The wife was just looking at him and smiling..almost caused me to run off the road,but it was so sweet i had a hard time taking my eyes off of them!

With the suggestion of someone special to me, listening to a song that I've heard before, but now I've been given a new context for the powerful words/lyrics. Now they are much more meaningful to me and touch my heart. Now when I hear that song I will smile and think of that special person.

My cousin's cheeky girlfriend texting me to tell him to phone her and take his phone off silent, otherwise she's cooking again, when she comes round tonight! ........Actually, that's more of a scary thought! LOL!

...after chatting about current annus horribilis', Mrs.B returning to Barista to bring me a bag of potatoes she'd seen 'on offer' at Marks&Sparks. It was an odd gift but it left me with a grin. Friends come in so many different guises.

the lovely roses and card as He came thru the door... because i was missed. the shared kitchen time making supper... sneaking glances as He carried the wood, and built a fire... the magnificent time spent right now... just doing our thing, and being- right next to eachother on the sofa. no drama, no stress, no phones ringing, silly laughter, jammies, and stolen kisses... doesn't get better than this. big smiling. :cheer: |
Replacing my 10 ton Sony Trinatron *BOING* TV I bought in 1999 with a new 42 inch, flatpanel, LCD TV. :) I'll be renting a crane (and operator) to move my old one to the spare room :|

I'm smiling because I have 2 full days AWAY from work.
I'm looking forward to a phone call tonight. ;) I sat out in the living room a few minutes ago and just looked at the moon, almost full and just above the clouds. The reflection it cast on the water was absolutely gorgeous. :) |

exploring and enjoying the HUGE country property around what will soon be my new place...finding a gorgeous, peaceful, crystal clear pond behind the house...the remainder of autumn leaves all around me...the smell of the woods and holly trees, bird watching...feeling my muscles burn a little as I climbed back up the hill (I've missed taking long walks)...seeing how happy my smooch-pooch was on his walk, he loves to explore just as much as I do. ...picking a whole pocket full of huge acorns for our rescued baby squirrel... enjoying the textures of nature around me, like the trunk of an ancient tree and birds nests... fresh air and peaceful quiet at Peaceful Pond...
