Coconut crusted deep fried big monster shrimp with sweet and spicy marmalade, grilled sesame coated tuna, nice and rare. Ponzu sauce, green beans, beer/corn muffins, salad, and everyone's cucumbers from their salad.

This morning I’ve made a selection for people to choose from; Italian Sun-dried Tomato, Olive and Char-grilled Artichoke pasties; Vegan Cheese and Onion pasties; Veggie mince and Onion pasties and Kumara and Veggie pasties.
Serving with; Potato and Leek Au Gratin and a Parsnip, Leek and vegan Blue Cheese Au Gratin, sautéed Carrots and Green Beans lightly dressed with a Balsamic Vinegar Dressing. Dessert is; a homemade Lavender Ice Cream with homemade Dark Chocolate Ginger pieces. I’m feeding the masses, again tonight! LOL! |

I'm thinking of making fried potatoes, pork n beans, hot dogs, and cottage cheese. It was a favorite of my whole family when I was growing up and while I can't make anything as good as my mom, I like to try once in a while. :winky:

Last night the roomie made some homemade chili so I made a couple beef chili dogs. Tonight either more chili or sirloin steak with some broccoli cheddar rice.

Home cookin'
My Dad grilled a humungous pork chop and it was so succulent and delicious. Mixed greens with a beautiful deep red tomato and Ranch. Carrots, cranberry sauce, apple sauce, baked sweet potato and baked Idaho with butter on everything. And a fresh lime off the tree for my cranberry juice. I don't know how they eat like this all the time. I'm going to have to buy bigger pants to fly home in. But man, it was tasty.

Bessinger's BBQ...SOUTHERN style...with a honey/mustardy tangy sauce, steak fries, and dessert was their Peanut Butter pie with chocolate drizzle washed down with a HUGE glass of southern sweet tea with lemon!!
