Well, endo done. Dr said I have Gastritis (iflamation of the stomach lining). Says it's nothing to worry about but he did some biopsies anyway to make sure. Says I have a polyp on my vocal cords....big deal for me as a singer.... not sure I can sing until that is taken care of. Dr said to make an appt with an ent, which I did this morning. It's for the 5th. Will see the gi dr again on Nov 1 to get the results from all the tests. The ultrasound may have picked something up that didn't show on the endo. So for now, pretty much stuck in the same boat..can't eat, can't sing. Honestly, the not singing bothers me more at this point.
Well, at least I get a day off! Procedure was at 7:00 (had to be there by 6:15...yawn) and I was home by 8:30. Going to put my feet up and read a book with Bella curled up beside me. I love that dog! Ruthie:blueheels: |

Hey DMW... do they know what is causing your gastritis? We are still trying to figure out why I have it. Not a clue, and yes it HURTS! I am tired of rice, I can tell you that!

Well, Ruthie, that was a few years ago. Ever so often, it does come back. I know i ate too much licorice and i think peppers do not sit well. Feels a bit like fireworks straight down the midline and outwards when i had the gastritis. Too bad i cannot recall more of what the irritants were or what was the causal relation to said pain...ugh. If i think of anything else...i will inform. I do believe that i would experience more pain during digestion if i would go for periods without eating prior to a meal. I am sorry if you have this often. It does hurt a bit. If i had it all of the time i would not be so nice. |

Uff..I made it from Ann Arbor to Beloit Wisconsin. Thanks to Chicago traffic at rush hour, I was lucky to go 30 miles in 2 hours. Guess it coulda been slower. I'm more than half way to Minneapolis, so hopefully tomorrow's drive will be better.

Last night I went to a lovely birthday party for a friend of mine who turned 60! Japanese steak house, huge cake..wonderful show of cooking. lol funny guys. Then back to a friends house for an old fashioned basement party complete with football on the tv and dancing.. yes, there is even a dance floor. lol
Of course, me and my sill stomach... I could only have water.. but I was getting tired of not going out with my friends just because I can't eat... sooooooo water it is! lol OY Off to church and then to play Bocce with friends at the park.
