Okay, so having considered the due diligence, comprehensive questionnaire approach to crushing, it became clear that it just wouldn't work for me. Robust? Yes, but I calculated it would take a lady about 10 years to complete the due diligence checks and that's slightly too long for me.

Therefore, I decided to get the best mathematical minds together to come up with an easier to use statistical model to ascertain which crushes are worth progressing and which are not. This approach is shown below:

Via this approach, each crush is scored against a number of high-level categories on a 0-100 scale. The scores are then fed into the graph and the individual results are overlaid by polynomial trend analysis (I've never been one for "poly" to date but there's no harm in trying new things now and again). The polynomial analysis smoothes the underlying trend and clearly shows which crush is potentially compatible and which is not. In the example above, crush 1 is worthwhile pursuing whereas crush 2 is not (sorry - crush 2).

Therefore, the new approach to crushing is straightforward - simply score the potential crushee across broad categories, enter into the system, quick look at the graph and decide who to try to win.

This has followed extensive "product" development (well, 0.5 mins) and is still in the testing phase to ensure there are no bugs or faulty equations as, otherwise, the software may tell me that I should be pursuing Sarah Palin or Janis Lane.

I always dreamed that someone would crush on my eyes or my amazing body. I guess that beggars cannot be choosers ;)

That said, the visual of someone licking my brain brings back squeamish memories of Indiana Jones ..... I'm now not going to be able to sleep tonight, will be sleep-deprived in work all of tomorrow and, thus, even grumpier than normal. Thanks VERY MUCH MsMarla :cool:

Soooo I've had a crush now for about a month on a gal (yes the human variety this time) who I did not meet through this wonderful site... but... still... she is worth mentioning because even though we will only ever be crushes, we are meeting this weekend for some crush fun!
