PlatinumPearl 03-26-2020 07:40 PM

I am...

Eating dinner... even though I am not hungry.

I do feel like having snacks though so once I am done I will make a tea and have something sweet. :tea: :chocolate:

I'm taking a break. It's my last night in this apt. I'm looking forward to a fresh start..my way!

Let the steps begin. Lol. Im on the third floor going down then up to the second floor. Whew..lol
So its break time now. I've been listening to my classic rock playlist. Looks like I'm on song 68 of 108. Awesome background.

~~
Composing a well worded letter to a PA asking if he could be possibly be my provider instead of the most unpleasant and egotistical doctor I had the misfortune to be saddled with!

This is at a pain clinic and because it's my first time dealing with such a facility, I'm not sure of protocols and such. This PA asked questions, let me speak, and most importantly listened! In short everything the doctor did NOT!

Bèsame* 04-06-2020 07:25 AM

Catching up on Grey's Anatomy. Looking at their surgical masks and thinking I'd rather make skull caps..lol.

Kätzchen 04-11-2020 07:11 PM

I have an Agatha Christie movie playlist going, right now (youtube), and I'm listening to the movie as I study for my tests. :tea:

RebelDyke 04-11-2020 10:17 PM

easygoingfemme 04-12-2020 10:28 AM

Eating a bowl of lentil noodles and broccoli while I get ready to Zoom Easter with my nephews.

Stone-Butch 04-12-2020 02:03 PM

Doing

All day just watching tv, playing cards on computer, coming in and out of chat. Did stop for a bowl of soup at lunchtime.

Kätzchen 04-25-2020 11:18 AM

After I have breakfast and finish watching an episode of Inspector Morse (a fabulous British crime drama, who done it, tee-vee show from years ago), I plan to go for a bicycle ride. If not, then I plan to work on a crafting project.

Baby_Yoda 04-25-2020 11:34 AM

Laundry. Work half a shift later on this evening, then maybe a movie before bed...

Kätzchen 05-16-2020 05:09 PM

I'm taking a break right now, after getting all my chores done for today (laundry, grocery shopping, house cleaning). I still have to finish up an art project today and get it mailed off to a dear friend who is having her first baby (she's having a baby girl). But I'll get to it tomorrow. My plan for Sunday afternoon.

Bèsame* 05-16-2020 09:48 PM

Made an appointment to get new tires. By ordering and scheduling on line I get one tire free! I wasn't sure if a wheel alignment was necessary, but after googling, it is highly recommended. Thank you Siri. Lol

PlatinumPearl 05-31-2020 07:31 AM

What I'm Doing Right Now...

Watching the live coverage of SpaceX Dragon. Waiting for Dragon to approach Waypoint 2.

I am thinking about posts on BFP.

I am thinking about whether it is ok to ask ***** to desist from posting 10-12 fluff posts in a row to which few if any respond to and forcing any thoughtful posts off the home page before anyone has a chance to see them, whether they would have responded or not.

I'm not sure if it's ok to say this ( and I have pleaded this question privately ) but I, for one, am getting tired of posting only to see my post almost disappear before I've finished typing it.

I'm not saying my posts or anyone else's are so important or interesting but I wouldn't mind having a little time to find out.

I am cleaning my new revolver ... just got back from target practice ... I have been looking and drooling over one like this for 2+ years. Bought it about a week and a half ago. Just posted its photo in the gallery.

specs:
Smith &Wesson 686 Plus, stainless steel, 6" barrel, shoots both .357 Magnum & .38 Special loads, holds 7 rounds, the action is both single and double, lifetime warranty, MFR Model #: 164198

It is so easy and fun to shoot. I love everything about it!

A friend of mine who hates guns said this about it and I quote:

"Well, it is a beautiful machine. And if anyone can be a responsible gun owner, it’s you. I know you and anyone around you will be mighty safe."

I could not believe she, of all people, said it was beautiful. *laughing*

Stone-Butch 05-31-2020 10:50 AM

Doing

I am keeping tabs on the news from the protests in the U.S. and in Canada. I do not see violence or theft and destruction of innocent peoples property. The Virus has hit everyone too hard and now some are losing what is left of their livelihood from those who do not want justice but just an excuse to pillage.

Lecheloco 05-31-2020 02:18 PM

Working, well watching others work

MODERATOR speech (but not moderating), a message to all members:

This post was reported for naming a specific member so I removed the name of the member for TOS compliance, but since we do actually get a lot of complaints about a member repeatedly covering the page with only their fluff posts, I do want to keep the content of this post. While there are no rules about this, let's just use common sense and keep in mind that to cover the page in quick fluff posts, this "buries" everyone else's post, some of whom, like Collette said, may have taken the time to post something thoughtful that other members would like the opportunity to read. I don't know if people have heard the phrase, "Step up, step back," but this means "step up" and post if you don't usually post because we'd like to hear from you, and "step back" if you post a lot because it's nice to make room for the quieter among the bunch. Thanks, everyone, for taking the time to read this.
