Taking a break at work. It's my California besties birthday this week and I'm wrapping a couple gifts I got for her. She's sweet, fun, and just an all around good person.

Well, I am playing the new Magnum, PI on the ole DVR, talking to the babies as they wander around and trying to figure out if I'm going to be good and go to bed at a reasonable time or stay up and make my very busy day tomorrow harder to get through by being tired.

Thinking about my ex husband. We were married for 22 years and together for 25. He died last year and today would have been his birthday. We weren’t friends but we were friendly and I would have called him today to wish him well.

Binge-watching the Halloween movies while cake and brownies bake. Got up bright and early to call my mom to wish her happy birthday and do the dishes.
Going to get some cereal shortly and take the dog out. |
