I found out my company offers all medical dental, vision, etc all benefits to same sex domestic partners !!! It was only in the states that allowed same sex marriages. But now it includes everyone!!!! I'm pumped. We have some excellent benefits too. Including a nice pension. Which means if I died before my partner, she would get my pension until she dies. Before , if I died no one would get it, it just ended. Only married hetero's spouses got the pension if their spouse died. Awesome news!!!!!!! I love my company!!!

....a bunch of fourteen year olds (haven't taught them that young in awhile!) who all wrote a little something on a sympathy card for my uncle.
When I returned to work, I said thanks sooo much and, "I love you all!" and did the heart sign with my hands. They YELLED back, "Awwww, Ms!!! WE love you too and missed you!!!" We shared a moment. My students=heart. |
Warm soft PJs and a very warm, very soft, clean, fuzzy puppy cuddled up beside me. What a nice way to end Monday.

Finding out that the new job has A-MAZING insurance aaaaaand is only a 7 1/2 hour workday. Wooooot.......All this for MORE money?!?!!!!! I'm abundantly blessed. :D

Grades for one of my two classes!
My grades vs. class average for my Vocational Planning class.. My grades for Interpersonal Communication are good as well, but since it is a class for the second half of the semester,we have not turned in enough assignments to make you go "Oooooh!"
So fucking proud of myself, is that sad? I tell myself it's only two classes, so I should do awesome - but then I add on that I work full-time, have a family, and have a life with said family outside of school and work so doing homework is sometimes hard. Just wanted to share my accomplishments thus far :D |

I bought new chairs to go 'round the dining table today. OK, I was slightly flaberghasted to realize I have to put them together.... (assembly required? Excuse me, but did you not notice the high heels and pink nail polish? Pfft... oh honey!... Get yer tools... LOL) ... But yay! This year we're eating Thanksgiving in our dining room, sitting in real chairs at a real table. Huzzah! :)

Im smileing about a fue things,my health where could be better is better than I thought it would be because of this back thing that at the moment is snarky and snarly to say the least.That all is well with my family,fur kids and friends both in rt and one the planet.One of my small investments is already paying off..plus the initital investment is rolling over from the profits before I get them.

many, many things.. where do i begin? - my teenagers, good humor, no attitudes & seeing B studying her pretty little heart out.. cooking with A, laughing and warm fuzzy hugs. - time with my Daddy, deep conversations, constant support, and an amazing love i will be grateful for, every single day... - coming out of an emotional, hard and exhausting 3 days of self-work, tears & frustrations with a food addiction, eating disorder & being able to say now THAT's progress.. taking the hard stuff, and finding positive solutions and really finding some love for myself, being proud of myself and knowing damnit, i'm well worth this! - putting on a pair of pants i bought over 2 months ago, which were snug and uncomfortable - and having them be very loose.. & going through my closet, and finding new outfits with tags on them that now fit, EXCITING! *happy dancing* - making a lovely dinner tonight, and really creating a new loving & healthy relationship with food again.. and it was so colorful, pretty and delicious... - plans for March, to be with Him again... plans for September for Reunion, with Him... AND plans for future..(yes, Him again, heh..) We soo got this, and that makes me smile non-stop! |
