Little kids socks... Driving by a beautiful, old Craftsman style house that someone finally bought and is fixing it up in such a loving way... it's even more beautiful than it was as an "old bones" neglected, empty place... Today I saw the old windows stacked on the porch (they've replaced much of the old leaded windows)... I thought "what did it hurt to ask?" ... so I stopped in... told her that I am trying to make "cold boxes" (like mini green houses) from old windows... she GAVE them to me!! I pick them up tomorrow!! Now I'll have enough to make at least 3 or 4 large Cold Boxes to get an early start on next spring's garden!! I might even have enough to build a whole green house?!! Thinking about growing my first crop of Cherokee Purple tomatoes next year.... Gramma D will be so happy!! |

Finding out that our new FREE Droid phones were approved and waiting to ship as soon as the stock is replenished. I couldnt believe that they had this offer for Black Friday!! WOOHOO..
Cant wait to get them. Although I will have to buy Damon a cover for his.. cause they are both the same color. |

I'm 99% packed for my trip to see ONLY in a couple days. :D I am NEVER this on the ball. Now I can relax the next little while.

What made me smile YESTERDAY....
coming back to work after being off 4 days for Thanksgiving, being slammed with work... and the boss mentions a raise. SAY WHAT?! Yeah, it's only been 6 years since my last one... but I am soooo not complaining :) |

Knowing that someone :superman: loves me enough to not be intimidated by lists....a very short list.....but he dove in first thing this morning :) He says if I am happy he is happy....imagine that because if he is happy I am happy....what a great compromise :toast:

My landlord calling, saying I could pick up the new keys ... the last time he tried to make keys, they didn't work. Tonight, I picked up the new set, went over to the house, plugged in the heaters (cuz it's NIPPY tonight) and tried the new keys... :| they didn't work. My landlord makes me smile... first he was so proud of himself that he put in pipes and electric for a laundry room... but he forgot the dryer vent. When I brought it to his attention, his response was "well.... I guess I did". Now the keys... *shakes head* Just like my current roomie and his parents, my landlord and his family are all good folks... all things will work out, even if the keys don't work.
