A day out with my mom. Bookstore. Shoe store. Lunch. Soft serve. Chai. A new book. A cute new keychain coin purse. My dad grilling me black bean burgers. Beer.

I'm really lucky when it comes down to it.

My southern gentleman makes my eyes smile. And that is pretty sparkly wonderful I'd say...♡♡♡

Working at the kennel this morning, good news from my spouse's vascular surgeon, a kennel coworker offering support/friendship, seeing lots of butterflies today.

Hearing from some old friends, fur babies, and of course, Netflix.

The class I instructed today went very well. I had ten teams, ( 10 people/10 dogs) to work with, usually I only have six teams. I think fun was had by all who participated, including myself. :dogwalking:

I dropped by my daughters house after work and my 3 yr. old grandson saw me thru the window and rushed out on the porch in his lil boxers (which are adorable) and said.... maw maw I didn't know you were coming to my house... I'm so happy to see you. He took my hand and walked me in and said here maw maw sit down.... I sat on the couch and he climbed up and stood beside me... he leaned over and gently kissed my ear and said... I really, really love you maw maw.
Doesn't get any better than that!

He is without a doubt the sweetest little boy I've ever been around. He kisses the wall where his mommy hangs up his craft projects. They had a plumber doing some work at their house and when he left, Brayden said... "bye mister.. I love you" .... My daughter tried to explain that we don't tell strangers we love them and he got a little emotional and said.. but, I love that guy. He kissed my shoe the other night because it looks nice and he loves it.

A blue and black butterfly landing on my hand this morning out in my backyard. It was a very spiritual experience for me, as I was kinda meditating and here she came.

Working in my yard today! Being outside in nature is the most relaxing therapy for me and boy did I need it!:hangloose::hangloose:

Watching Mom act excited as a child digging threw her bucket of dirt looking for gems. Her hype when she would discover a pretty rock or gem.

Playing with the dogs and cats at the kennel today! And seeing an older Pittie getting a new home after her owner died. The new dude is a great middle aged guy whose partner travels a lot for work, so he is alone and wanted an older dog. Win win for them both!!!:hangloose:

Painting my living room and rearranging furniture the way I want it...it's been bugging me for almost 2 years...the light is so nice in here now that the hideous paneling is painted <3

Walking through the memory garden at work and stepping on crunchy fall leaves... :)

Thinking about packing up and going to work at home :)

I got a dinner invite and will see my goddaughter. she is sooooo cute.

I booked a hotel in Tasmania and gave up worrying if it had a view.

After a day of pain and lots of sleeping judging a dance contest between my 5 and 9 year old nephews. The older one is tall and skinny and he does this one move that is so cute. Definitely brought me joy!

Everything that happened today, including pgone calls from my best friend filled with funny stories of the day and family antics.

Getting my Christmas wish and this time it wasn't a materialistic one!

My new boss...

She gave me a shit ton of hours. I'm booked up all through Sunday. And I have 12 hr shifts overnight next week.

She also gave me a cash advance on my pay so I could get new tires. I was reluctant to take a client shopping because of my front tires and she was concerned about MY well being too. So...Bonnie has pretty new shoes now!

A family visit today with the little ones. Such a joy.

A stress free work day and only working 9 hrs today

I made a really good dinner of Eye Of Round Roast, veggies and a peach crisp that was enjoyed by all. I'm glad the roast turned out, as it was the first time I've made that kind...and it brings me joy that other's enjoyed my cooking, as it's a way I can give back.

Hearing her voice makes me very happy. And it's always a bonus when I can understand most of what she is saying through that Boston accent of hers. :D
