I ordered delivery: a Philly cheesesteak. Also, Mtn Dew - I know I said in another thread I was going to lay off the caffeine for awhile, but I had a headache from not having eaten all day and the contrast dye that goes with a CT scan.

I made a frittata with asparagus, shallots, and parmesan cheese. We also had challah, which we made in a workshop at our synagogue.

yesterday, on the way home from the beach, Bestie and I stopped at a butcher shop.

We have a few options for dinner tonight. We have leftover Chinese food, smoked salmon and bagels, or we might go to a queermo potluck, and I’ll make shredded cabbage and baked tofu with sesame oil, rice wine vinegar, and chile garlic sauce.

I'll be grilling at my parent's house tonight. My kiddo will be there too and maybe their partner. I'm grilling salmon, asparagus, mushrooms, and making some roasted baby potatoes.

I’m baking a frittatta. I make one just about every week during asparagus season. I buy locally grown asparagus at the farmers’ coop, kind of like Agway. The frittatta has eggs, parmesan, a couple of potatoes, some onion I found in the fridge, and a buttload of asparagus.

We had bagels and smoked salmon for dinner, and it was dee-licious. We haven’t installed our air conditioners yet, and it is way too hot to cook. Pete has been riding her motorcycle to work and I don’t want to ask her to balance take out on the handlebars.
