In Jacksonville here too. Lived in Ft. Laudy for a bit and in Ft Myers too. LOVE SOUTH FL!! I use to think I would head back to CA in the years to come, but I am leaning more and more towards Miami.

away. Hmmm I'm due, 3 hrs is good .. maybe longer for me tho. Maybe I can find someone this way to share my ride ... we shall see !

I think I saw a bird melt from the heat. My kitten says it is to hot to walk outside. The puppy agrees. I have to carry them both back in. *rolls eyes* Now I am contemplating going to play kickball.

Wolf I just came back from Largo Mall and just from the car to the stores was enough for me. Then went to Red Lobster and had a Strawberry Dacquari /sp.. even the pool is hot.

let me know if you wanna share a ride cause we can plan around and then post ahead of time for the Jax folks if they wanna meet up for drinks and dinner or breakfast. I'm game , :eatinghersheybar: I'm sure we can find some trouble to get into ..lol

I have been busy as hell installing new hardwood floors and building a window bench and new kitchen table for mom. Not to mention lots of papers due in this class.... I am beat!!!

The first show is ST Pete Pride the 25th of June, after that I think Orlando, then maybe Lake city and Jax. Waiting to hear back to be sure I have spots on all of them.

HOws it going with you? This smoke is crazy huh?

Thanks for the welcome. South Florida has its perks and it's nice to hear that you enjoyed your stay. :) Btw, I have also been to JAX and Ft. Myers. However, Calli takes the cake because it is such a beautiful looking place , but for now South Florida is my home.

Am doing good....looking for new room mate digs in case ya know anyone!!!! I am great with cooking, cleaning, laundry, lawn work, and helping with most household chores! That's too bad about the smoke fog. It messes with the fresh air that Floridians are used too. Hopefully it clears up soon. As far as Miami , Lauderdale and Boca Raton I can say that we had some rain and it is HOT and DEWY around our neck of the woods. Anyhow, have a great day and maybe try on some goggles instead of sunglasses until air clears up.

It is true Clay, parting Casa De Mick is tricky. Kind of like Hotel California, ey? "Some" really like it here!!! LOL Nah, all kidding aside, it was a nice change having extra guests!

I could have used help last week. Man it was killing me getting all that done. I think it has finally set in that I am not young rooster anymore! I am like that damn old rooster that that can crow any more waiting for the young stud to come kill me and take my place LOL

Trying to finish up the window bench and storage stuff today. Need to find somewhere to order custom cushions, that will not charge 150-300 bucks. Crazy, folks wanting 50-100 bucks for a cushion LOL

Have the walls to do, do not know what I am going to do on them that is cheap.... once I get all that done, I will have one room completed!! Whoohoo

Do not know of anyone needing a roomie right now. I will keep my ears open, but to be honest, I do not know many people any more since I started taking care of momma. I am fairly isolated. But, if I do hear, I will let you know.

And, if you hear a a beautiful young women who is educated and kind and loves Trans guys who care for their mother, and who is single and looking, you let me know! LMAO

Yeah, indeed loved it down there. I really do not like Jax much, but I have a house here and other responsibilities, so home is here for now.

I have been trying to get down to the Everglades for about a year now, but just havent gotten the chance. I enjoyed going there back when I lived down there and when I was a kid.

Yeah the storm helped and we have another one about to start. Been busy as hell today. My dog is really sick, I mean really sick and I have been pampering him all day. Waiting for blood tests to come back... I feel so helpless... he is my baby boy.... got my fingers crossed!

Anyways, I need to get back to him.. have a great weekend and thanks for the help on those cushions again!

Thanks for the wishes for cleaner air soon! Yesterday was better but still with smoke fog...not as densely. There are currently 157 fires burning within a 50 mile radius of Jax! Plus th eones on Ga/Fla line.
We are due rain today so should help dissipate a lot of the particulates in the air.

Last I heard there are like 40 wild fires in FL and there were like 6 surrounding Jax.

Has been pretty bad, although it is not bad today.... raining now, but erlier was not too bad.

I actually cannot go to the events as I take care of momma, but I have some people that work for me tend the event. They are heading down now.

Actually is anyone going to St Pete Pride comes by booth 345 and tells them that Mick sent them, they get a free bracelet or belly ring with any other purchase. We specialize in everything being priced at 10 bucks or less. And, I have the only Gay Hot Sauce at these events. Rainbow Recruiter - The secret is in the sauce! ;)

Will be at Jax Pride, it is in October, I think we will be at Orlando and for certain Gainesville and maybe Savannah.

The beach is too far for me to go and leave momma. I cant leave for more than like an hour at a time, if that. I am tethered to this side of town. Sorry, but it sounds like fun!
