Waking Thoughts....
 

Trying to get back on track with a more routine sleeping and waking schedule. I went to bed about 1.5 hours later than expected and woke about half an hour early. It's snowing here in the Salt Lake City area. Not a lot, but just enough to reduce visibility for me. I had a cigarette and some coffee while standing outside watching it come down. It's a beautiful obstacle to my errands. I am taking a friend to her appointments today-- IF it stops snowing so I can see to drive:

• 1pm: Temple Square: She is a convert and touring the area. I was baptized Mormon, so I've seen it. It truly is beautiful, and being that she's never seen it, I think she'll find it beautiful and peaceful. The Reflections Pool is my favourite. She told me the sister missionaries really liked me when they dropped in last night, thought I was fun and knowledgeable because I knew scriptural references, want me to join them today for the tour. I agreed to as long as they understood that I have no plans to return to the church and disagree with many of their political stands i.e. homosexuality, etc.
• 4pm: Doctor appointment
• Sometime tonight: Church Activities: I don't want to go-- I LIKE my cigarettes and coffee! The LDS church scoffs at both of those, but I promised to go. One of the sister missionaries is from NC also, about 30 minutes from where I grew up, so I think I remind her of home. I can understand getting homesick being away from there. I miss it too. We were talking about the different areas there we both know, so it was nice, like "talking to an old friend".

"If I go to bed now, I will have 30 minutes to sleep"

Damn it!!! I went to sleep just like that, really???

I don't feel bad about calling out this weekend from the mall. I need a day off and time with Hym :)

Does security really need to bug the shit out of me every time I go to mall and get my coffee? After coming to this mall for the last ten years, I'm pretty sure, I know when it opens.

a road trip to collect my households, and closing that door / death and the emotions it causes / my son graduating from Field Medical Training and traveling to his duty station / and His voice.

LOL I am so happy that I was not the only one! Mine was "oh the weather outside is freightful, the spring would be so delightful and since there's no work today back to sleep, back to sleep, back to sleep!"

why am i up so early on my day off??? grrr lol

I took a quick nap in the shower earlier. I didn't plan on it but it happened anyway. When I snapped out of it ,TLC's "waterfalls" was in my head and I wondered if I had been dreaming to provoke that.

HOLY CRAP- she's coming here...what do you call this, hmmm hmmm hmm. How about a weekend of companionship... OK I can be ok with that.
I am so I got my scooter and get to sleep in now, *YAWN*

Oh I slept in, it's already 6:30! that rarely happens sweet :) followed by I wonder if she wrote me yet :tease:

What time is it? *listening. Is everyone else up? *sees light in the hallway. Shell (my sister-in-law) must still be in bed. *rolls back over. Dozes for about ten more minutes. Wakes with a start. Damn! I have to get that case study done that is due today!!
