It's been good so far. I got a good workout in, a quick trip to the grocery store, I made breakfast and am eating it now while listening to yesterday's Steve Harvey show.

It is an awesome Sunday AM here. We are having coffee, have sliders open, and listening to the many windchimes we have on patio!

It is a beautiful Sunday here - chilly, but sunny. This morning, we got up early (for a Sunday, 10 a.m.) and had some coffee and cranberry nut bread. Then we wrapped presents, and we are now done with that!
Today I'm catching up on Gray's Anatomy and cleaning the kitchen. I'm not planning to go anywhere, and I probably won't change out of my pajamas all day. I hope you have a nice and easy Sunday, people! And Happy Holidays to everyone who celebrates! |

It's kind of an overcast Sunday here, and it's so warm outside that I have the a/c on inside. For everyone who's having really bad weather, I hope it stops soon. For breakfast today we had egg and Christmas ham sandwiches on toast, and Christmas cookies with coffee. Other than filling out some insurance paperwork, I have no duties today, and I plan to spend most of it sitting on the couch watching movies. Those Christmas goodies keep calling to me from the kitchen. There is still a batch of sugar cookie dough in the refrigerator that I haven't even baked yet. I would just throw it out, except they are so much fun to do and so pretty - they're painted cookies. So we will paint and bake them today, and they can go to the New Year's Eve party later this week. I hope everyone has a great Sunday and a great week! |

I have had a lazy kind of day. Surfing the net, posting here & there. Heidi & I just hung out, basking in the quietness of our house. Picking my honey up from the airport in a bit...she was away for the holiday with her kids....I am okay with that. It was just "lonely" missing her...:). Absence does indeed make the heart grow fonder!! Hoping everyone having bad weather is safe & better weather comes along soon. Like Georgia, we, too have the AC on!! :). the kitties and I got up late. Chatted on-line and on the phone with friends. Then I ate brunch while watching Harry Potter on TV. I had to run to the corner store so that meant pants! Ugg pants. I did get to listen to Donna Summer and that makes me happy. I am back home and cooking something that I am making up. It will be like beef in a thick dark gravy with spice (like Carne Guisada). I love Sundays. There is just something about them that gives me that "peaceful, easy, feeling". Yesterday the first half of mine was spent studying; after which, I spent the rest of the day wondering around online and watching movies. :)

Hope everyone has had a wonderful holiday season. Red and I have really enjoyed the time off. We never make in resolutions other than to move forward holding on to the good things and letting go of the bad. I am thankful that the bad was very limited in 2015 and all the challenges were easy to overcome. Tomorrow we both hit the ground running, working to make 2016 the best year ever. I am always excited about what lies ahead and look forward to the opportunities the new year will bring. I wish each and everyone of you a great year ahead. Good Sunday morning everyone!!
I slept in later this am...til 930am! My honey is bustling about taking down our tree, she does it, as things have to be "just right" in her storage boxes....lol We had a wonderful dinner date last evening. A 5 star place her daughter gave us a gift certificate to....it was yummy! Then we sat out on the patio enjoying a fire log in our fire pit & had our tiny ambiance lights on... 2015 was really good to us in so many ways. We have our health, a roof overhead, and food. We enjoyed so many wonderful new things we haven't done before, made many new friends. I would wish for everyone to enjoy a great New Year, discovering within themselves renewed zest for life, amazing health, and an even deeper inner peace. I wish for world peace & more kindness to animals... Happy New Year everyone....:praying: |

Happy Sunday morning (afternoon) and Happy New Year everyone! We slept until 12:30pm, so my morning was spent dreaming. It's sunny and cold here, finally feels like winter. Tiny Dog did not want to go out in it! Have only eaten brunch and watched an episode of The Newsroom, and an episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee (guest President Obama!) so far today. Am planning a very laid back rest of the day.

It is cool and rainy out today. I've spent the day relaxing and dealing with the pains of arthritis that tends to flare up worse when the weather turns colder.

The new year is settling in with 2 inches of snow and freezing winds. We have burned through more wood than we have in last 5 years. It's nice though, love the roar of a fire. Today the sky resembles more of a Michigan sky rather than a Florida sky. Not a drop of rain and none is forecast, but it seems as though the sun has decided to take Sunday off. I have both dehydrators filled with spinach with more to dry after this load finishes. Meanwhile, it is Sadie's (my fur child) birthday and I am going to go spend some play time with her and cook something special for her dinner, after which I will settle in with a movie. |

Good weather here today......had brunch with my sisters of the rainbow spectrum...:). I always have such an amazing time with these ladies.
Ran some errands, took some dogfood (bag & cans) to the animal shelterfor the babies there. Spent afternoon just lazing around...sat out by pool...painted some....ahhh...salt life! Hope everyone has an awesome week!!! |

Having a lazy Sunday of sorts!
Going out to the quilt fabric store with my honey in a while..she is making another quilt for her BFF! It is super windy & chilly here today. Overnight we had some really nasty storms hit above, below, and upon us. North got hammered with 4 tornadoes, south got re hammered with severe weather...they have had two tornadoes in less than a week...we escaped those this time....whewww....praying for those up in Tampa & Sarasota County!! Have a good week everyone. I am going to watch my Broncos play this afternoon. Last night's Cards v. Packers was "intense".....these playoffs are really exciting to watch....:). |

I actually woke up during the morning hours today, a result of getting to bed early last night. I had Cap'n Crunch for breakfast, and spent the morning and part of this afternoon binge watching Nurse Jackie. Probably going to take a nap, then go to the grocery store later.
