Homemade taco salad with ice cream/gelato for dessert :)

A very simple tomato and onion sauce over chilli penne pasta with freshly picked/chopped basil added a couple of minutes from the end of cooking. Side salad put together from whatever 'stuff' I find in the salad crisper and vegetable rack.

I cannot sleep so I had eggplant and mac and cheese for breakfast.. someone help lol

I Just had a fried egg sandwich with butter and mustard, a glass of milk, and now a cup of hot tea.

Macaroni Grill........................ with service by the best server in the restaurant (Gets our table in and out in under an hour on dinner break -- aps, dinner and dessert. She rocks!) ....... Also happens to be super cutie li'l baby dyke whose smile always reaches her eyes .............. and wears her jeans low on her hips ........... :drool: ................ (I've never been a server before, do they know sex appeal gets them better tips? I assume so. And don't care. LOL) ...... oh, and the food was good, too. Mushroom ravioli with creamy Marsala sauce. Yum :)

OMG what didn't I have for dinner tonight. Bella's momma made a huge birthday spread for her grandson. We had roast, potatoes, mac-n-cheese (Brad's favorite), carrots, corn, sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, rolls, homemade slaw, deviled eggs... I think there was more but I can't remember. Oh and birthday cake. Love those southern style family get togethers!

I went out for dinner for a friends birthday and had hibachi chicken with fried rice, soba noodles, veggies, a salad and some soup. Although I did NOT consume all of it, it will make a lovely lunch tomorrow :)

I had Steak N Shake, thanks to Dixie and me having to go out and get cat food at a pet store that has said place across the road.

It was melted Tomatoes, Garlic and Basil over Spaghetti with a green Salad and Ciabatta.
Dessert was Soy Yoghurt Lime and Lemon balm flavour. |
Oven fried panko tilapia. I should have veggies or something with it, but it's so yummy by itself.

I made homemade pesto.. so, that is going over some fettuccini. Along with that will be grilled tri-tip. nom nom

I made ribs but my daughter and I were out shopping while they were cooking and ended up picking up McD's.
So, I guess it's ribs tomorrow..lol |
I had a tossed salad with Kraft Italian Tuscan House dressing and about to make my cuppa hot tea now.

I've got a cold like everyone else so I guess I'll assert some dynamic willpower and open my old survival package of Ramen noodle soup, jail house recipe, with crunched up doritos in it lol.

Last night was my turn to cook - *gasp* yes I can and do very well in the kitchen - ok except for fried potatoes although I have almost perfected them ;)

Red is the steak cooker in our house and she grilled a beautiful big ole t-bone, veggies and made a wonderful side salad and bake potatoes. Yes I love her!

a bit too early fo' dinna (3:30 monday nz time), but i will be havin' poached red cod, wit' cayenne, smoked paprika, cracked pepper & lemon, a side o' peas and corn and raspberry sorbet fo' dessert.

Organic artichokes my friend brought from santa cruz when they came home. Baked chicken with a homemade bbq type sauce on it. Baked organic red taters. Small romaine/carrot/red onion salad. Apple crispie oatmealie thing ... Baked... With organic Granny Smith and Fujis.. Sort of like the apple brown bettey without the betty. Lol. Yes. I have help eating all this.

Tonight's will be a healthier option of: baked chicken breasts & brown rice with a mushroom soup sauce corn on the cob and a garden salad |
I thawed out skirt steak, but haven't decided how I want to cook it
More than likely, I'll dice up potatoes, fry them and decide from there I may run down to Latino Market and grab fresh corn tortillas Hmmmm, I see a meal coming together here, lol |

I made an experimental "chicken fajita chop-chop salad"
I stir-fried chicken breast tenderloins, red bell peppers and green onions in fajita seasoning, chopped it all up and threw it in a bowl with baby spinach, tomatoes and avocado. It is very flavorful and very healthy. |

Being we are haveing such great weather hear I brought out my new state of the art smoker...thats what it says in the box..anywho I put on a small rack of ribs that have been seasoned and rubed with lots of goodies then hanging out in the fridge for the last 24 hours.I can smell it now,so so good but still got to wait till its ready,we are haveing a salad for me and corn on the cob for my son,I also have yeast rolls riseing to be baked ...gonna be good eating.
