The momma Hoot Owl that lives in the tree outside my bedroom window... she's a Hoot!! She amused me late last night and tickled me how she was hooting to another owl who was out by the garage.

My daughter-In-Law (and best friend) got her head pooped on by a bird going into work yesterday. Then she found out that she needs a lawyer ($) to get a tenant evicted. Before bed the dog peed on the gifts under the tree. This morning I smiled when she said *I just love your *I do not do Mornings* sleep shirt. Can I have it? hahahahaha!

So many smiles the past 2 days.
Yesterday: Shopping w/my BFF -- recently released from the hospital and no longer actively suicidal. It was the first time in months we've been able to just hang out like friends in months. It was good to see a glimmer of the old her returning. Today: A full 8 hours of sleep, a hot cup of coffee and a freshly bathed hound dog napping on the couch by my side. The smell of fresh-cut Yule tree in the house. The warm lights on the tree contrasting with the cool gray morning. |
Getting a Police escort from the bank to my house (4 blocks) for my own safety. Ok then :)

I received way too much in the way of gifts, but I am so grateful! Syr gifted me with an amazing high quality Keyboard, something I've been wanting for ages. She is pretty amazing, it blows me away at just how amazihg She really is. |
Getting a visit from some friends today while I am in an inpatient rehab - recovering/working hard to rehab my brand spanking knee knee.
I am so very blessed to have made real friends here, who have my back. They also brought lunch, which definitely made me smile, as the food here often does not make me smile~ twas good to break bread with them and feel the love |
Thinking about the amazing weekend I had with an equally amazing, awesome friend who rocks the shizel and sharing a few completely speechless moments...how much better does it get?! :cheesy:
